The Maximum Fighting Championship returns to Canada’s biggest sports network as MFC 32: Bitter Rivals is set to air on TSN2.
All of the action from MFC 32 will be broadcast Saturday, Feb. 18 on TSN2 at 10 p.m. ET/8 p.m. MT/7 p.m. PT (check local listings for channel designation).
“We had an amazing response right across the country when TSN2 aired MFC 31, and I expect things will be even better with MFC 32,” said Mark Pavelich, Owner/President of the Maximum Fighting Championship.
MFC 32: Bitter Rivals featured the organization’s first five-round, non-title fight as Brazilian striker Wilson Gouveia squared-off against heavy-handed puncher and former MFC light-heavyweight title contender Dwayne “D-Bomb” Lewis.
Also part of the MFC 32 card were two pivotal welterweight matchups that would ultimately set the stage for the title fight upcoming at MFC 33: Collision Course on May 4. In one showdown, home-town hero Ryan “The Kid” McGillivray takes on hard-charging newcomer Diego Bautista, while the other welterweight clash pits tough-minded veteran Nathan “Soulforce” Coy against hot prospect Dhiego “Maluco” Lima.
Another action-packed clash from MFC 32 sees Bas Rutten protégé Jamie “The Ghost” Toney go up against Kyle “The Jackhammer” Jackson – a fight that quickly earned a spot on the contender’s list for MFC Fight of the Year.
