Bobby "The Celtic Warrior" Gunn Faces Issues Returning to US Following Surgeries In Canada

It has been reported that Bobby “The Celtic Warrior” Gunn has recently been denied reentry back into the United States following a trip to Canada.  Sources close to Team Gunn stated that following his bout with James Toney in April, Gunn flew to Ontario to seek medical attention due to injuries sustained during the fight.

Upon attempting to return to his home in New Jersey, Gunn was denied reentry and reasons have been said that it is due to an expired citizenship status.

The same sources have also reported that Gunn is currently training in Niagara Falls, and his team have been in discussion with Danny Green’s team about putting together a fight in July or August.

Several attempts were made to contact Bobby Gunn but have been unsuccessful.  Some speculation as to why he was denied reentry is because Gunn is rumored to be associated with the underground bare-knuckle boxing circuit.

We are going to continue to try to contact Team Gunn to confirm these reports.
