HOBOKEN, New Jersey (July 18, 2012) - The best of Irish mixed-martial-arts fighting, Cage Contender, will start airing its fast-paced action in America on FIGHT NOW TVTM - America's only 24-hour combat sports and entertainment channel - commencing this month.
Cage Contender is the newest addition to FIGHT NOW TV's growing programming line-up of mixed-martial-arts, boxing, kickboxing and other combat events.
This Saturday (July 21), the Cage Contender XIV event will feature Light Heavyweight Champion Fraser "The Omen" Opie, plus Cage Contender Featherweight Champion Owen "Rowdy" Roddy defending his title against Shannon Gugerty, at National Basketball Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
Saturday's show will be taped live and air the following weekend, July 28 & 29 as part of Cage Contender Weekend on FIGHT NOW TV.
Catch Cage Contender XIII on July 28 at 10 p.m. ET, featuring bouts between Cage Contender Heavyweight Champion Neil Wain vs. Neil "Big C" Robinson in a rematch of their CCXI classic, plus UFC veteran Dean "Boogeyman" Lister, who took on local Irish fighter hero, Rodney Moore.
Then on Sunday, July 29at 10 p.m. ET, Cage Contender XIV makes its Network debut.
