BROOKLYN (October 23, 2012) -- 2008 United States Olympian Sadam "World Kid" Ali (15-0, 9 KOs) held a workout today at his gym - World Kid Sports/Sadam Ali Boxing Center -- in the Bayridge section of Brooklyn.
Ali headlines and is promoting Saturday night's "Rising Olympian Star In The Big Apple" pay-per-view event, live from Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn, against Jermaine "Too Sweet" White (17-5, 9 KOs), for the vacant IBO International welterweight title.

"Rising Olympian Star In The Big Apple," presented by World Kid Promotions, will be distributed in the United States by Integrated Sports Media for live viewing at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT on both cable and satellite pay per view via iN Demand, DISH Network and Avail-TVN for a suggested retail price of only $29.95. The event will also be available via on-line PPV at http://www.gfl.tv/.

Undefeated, world-rated cruiserweight Santander "The Demolition Man" Silgado
(22-0, 18 KOs) also was at today's open workout. Silgado takes on Gary "Pit Bull" Gomez (19-13-2, 7 KOs) in Saturday night's 10-round co-feature.
