Jay Adams Returns to Utah for Showdown Fights 10 – “X”

Tampa, FL – January 31, 2013 – Showdown Fights presents “X” live from the UCCU Center in Orem, Utah on the campus of Utah Valley University on February 8, 2013. This show will feature local hero “Cassius” Clay Collard (10-4) in a Lightweight Main Event bout against the always tough Jordan “Maximus” Clements (10-1).

Emmy award winning host and MMA personality Jordan “Jay” Adams will round out the commentating team for the upcoming fight event. Adams will join Johnny Ritchie and MMA fighter Tandi Schaeffer to call the action.

Fans saw an all out three round war, with eventual Champion Justin Buchholz and then the “Passing of the Guard” when Clay defeated Steven “Razor” Sharp in November. Jordan Clements is undefeated in the Showdown Fights round cage, and looks to continue his winning ways. Many in the industry have chronicled his meteoric rise because it rivals the path of several greats.

Other fights on the Showdown fight card include: Undefeated welterweight Jason South (8-0) as he puts his unblemished record on the line when he faces crafty UFC veteran Kyacey “Ice Cold” Uscola (21-19). Also featured on the card, the return of Jake “The Snake” Paul (15-11) squares off with Team Alpha Male and TUF Alum Kito Andrews (7-1); Jarome “The Hatchet” Hatch takes on Showdown newcomer Josh VanderVeur.
