Pinning Down Autism began in December 2006 with members of the wrestling community personally affected by Autism.

It began with our original takedown tournament benefit in Staten Island, NY, that has served as a model for numerous Pinning Down Autism events across the country. We've seen wrestling teams and clubs help their communities and new ways and for worthy causes. New York, New Jersey, Illinois, North Carolina and Nebraska have all played host to our events.
