FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Bangor, Maine (July 12, 2013) – Tonight mixed-martial arts promotion New England Fights! (NEF) presented the first ever MMA event to be held in Bangor, Maine. The much-anticipated debut of the sport in the Queen City drew close to 4,000 fans to Darling's Waterfront Pavilion to witness a professional/amateur card consisting of 14 fights. The night was highlighted by "All Business" Ray Wood capturing the inaugural Maine State Featherweight Championship.
