One of Delaware's Hidden Talents

Kyrone “Shut It Down” Davis



Born in Monmouth County, NJ in 1994, Kyrone’s interest in the boxing world started at the young age of 8 years old. At the age of 12, he and his family relocated Delaware where he continued to pursue his interest in the sport of boxing.

Kyrone is a member of the 2013 graduating class at Christiana High School. Although his main focus is his boxing career he very active in other things as well. Along with being a Member of the Wilmington Fire Department Explorers Program for Post 100, he has also served as Chaplain for the YMCA Black Achievers Program, involved in the YMCA Youth in Government, in addition to being a boxing mentor for other youths in the Wilmington area. He has also expanded his horizons recently to include public speaking. In his free time he enjoys listening to and making music along with singing.

With 12 titles/honorable mentions in his career, most recently the main event at the New Heights Festival in Seaside Heights, NJ where he won with a knock out in the 2nd round, he will now venture on to the PAL Nationals in California.
