Philadelphia (May 16) - Unified Light Heavyweight World Champion Bernard Hopkins spent his afternoon with champions of a different sort. The Philadelphia boxing legend recognized "National Hospital Week" as he took time to visit with and sign autographs for patients, doctors and nurses at Shriners Hospital for Children. "Today was a day that I won't forget," said Hopkins. "I fight in the ring, but these kids are fighting for their lives. I'm inspired by their strength, will and determination. Seeing the smiles on their faces brought me so much happiness and I thank the amazing doctors and nurses at Shriners for everything they are doing for these kids."
