ST. PETERSBURG, RUSSIA (September 17, 2014) - M-1 Global has announced two more fights for M-1 Challenge 52: Battle of Narts, airing live October 17 on www.M1Global.TV from Summer Amphitheatre Magas in Ingushetia, Russia.
Russian lightweight Bashir Gagiev (5-2-0) takes on Artiom Damkovsky (17-9-0, 7 TKO/KO), of Belarus), in a highly anticipated, entertaining match-up of strikers. Gagiev is stepping up in class to fight 8-year MMA veteran Damkovsky, who is 2-0 in 2014 having defeated Zulfikar Usmanov and Victor Cook.

Spaniard Daniel "The Gladiator" Tabera (18-5-0, 4KO/TKO, 6 SUB) and Murad "The Hunter" Abdullayev (11-1-0, 4 KO/TKO, 1 SUB, of Russia, will battle to determine the first challenger for the vacant M-1 Challenge welterweight belt.

During his 6-year MMA career, Tabera has defeated new M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Vyacheslav Vasilevsky, as well as Michael Hare, Sergei Kaznovsky and former Bellator champion Attila Vega. Tabera won a hard fought split decision over Ilya Doderkina last month in M-1 Challenge 50.
Out of action for the past 1 ½ years, Abdullayev returns to the ring hungry to make up for lost time. His 11 victims include Albert Tumenov, Arbi Aguev and Victor Halmi.
Ivan "Buki" Buchinger (27-4-0, 6 KO/TKO, 16 SUB), of Slovakia, and Tural Ragimov (9-1-0, 4 KO/TKO, 4 SUB), of Azerbaijan, will headline the Oct. 17th event for the M-1 Challenge featherweight title, recently vacated by Marat Gafurov.
