Join us on Saturday evenings the 18th of October and the 25th of October to enjoy the excitement of amateur boxing at the grass roots level.
Saturday the 18th is the start of the Metropolitan Championships. This is the road to becoming a National Champion.
Saturday the 25th is a club show, part of Gleason's Monthly Boxing Program.
We have a lot of bouts scheduled. We will have Juniors , Seniors, both men and women and Masters.
The weigh in for both shows will begin at 4:00PM and the first bout will begin at6:00PM.
All our bouts are sanctioned by USABoxingMetro. All boxers must have their boxing book with them in order to participate.
The ticket price is $20 per person. Children 6 and under are not charged. All gym members and registered amateurs with their books in hand pay $15 per person.

Heather is the Main Event this Wednesday on the DiBella Entertainment show at BB King in Manhattan.
A USABoxing coaches clinic is scheduled at Gleason's Gym Saturday October 18th at 10AM.
You must attend this clinic to get certified. You must be certified to work inside the ring in your boxers corner during sanctioned competitions.
Follow the Gleason's Gym Biggest Loser Contest "No Excuses" weight loss competition between Jihad Abdul Aziz and Delen Parsley.
At the weigh in on September 29th Jihad weighed in at 331 lbs and Delen weighed in at 384 lbs.
If the winner of this competition looses 50 pounds or more he will collect the incentive money being put up by their fans. The total so far is $515.00. To add to the incentive go to:
