FINAL FIGHT CARD RELEASED FOR NATIONALLY BROADCASTED “FIGHT NITE IN THE FLATS VIII” EVENT

Saturday’s NAAFS event features highly-anticipated bouts

Cleveland, Ohio (USA): This Saturday, top regional MMA promotion NAAFS hits iPPV and Cleveland with its “Fight Nite in the Flats VIII” event. After some reshuffling due to injuries, the new main event will feature the culmination of a blood feud between NAAFS Featherweight Champion Frank “The Tank” Caraballo and top contender Antonio “Mexican Muscle” Castillo, Jr. In addition, Cleveland’s own Chris Lozano, a veteran of Bellator, will now tangle with “The Unbreakable Heavy Hitter” James Warfield. Both fighters lost their original opponents to injury.

The main card of “Fight Nite in the Flats VIII” will be broadcasted live on GoFightLive.com for $9.99. The event takes place this Saturday, June 2nd, at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica in Cleveland, Ohio. Tickets are available at http://store.naafs.biz/fight-nite-in-the-flats-viii.html. General Admission: $30, VIP Table, Row 3: $50, VIP Table, Row Two: $75, VIP Table, Row One: $100, VIP Stage Table: $125, VIP Booth Seats: $60.

“We are really proud to bring such a stacked card to the NAAFS fight fans,” said NAAFS CEO Greg Kalikas. “This is a big event for us, and I have all the confidence in the world that our fighters are going to bring every ounce of fight-finishing ability they have to Cleveland.”

NAAFS Featherweight Champion Frank “The Tank” Caraballo (17-7) will also put it all on the line on June 2nd when he battles top contender Antonio “Mexican Muscle” Castillo, Jr. (12-3) for the belt. Both known for their ability to go from bell to bell, these 145ers are sure to put on a crowd-pleasing affair that will showcase what mixed martial arts is all about. Caraballo is a three-time veteran of Bellator, and brings an edge in experience against the challenger. Both fighters are from Ohio, however, and with both the belt and local bragging rights on the line, fists are sure to fly in this one.

Known as “The Cleveland Assassin,” Chris Lozano (14-4) is a five-time Bellator veteran who will be making his sixth appearance for the NAAFS. A member of Evolve MMA, Lozano brings an intensity to the cage rivaled by few. He has faced well-known fighters such as Karl Amoussou, Douglas Lima, and Lyman Good, and has defeated the likes of Brent Weedman, Yoshiyuki Yoshida, and Jason Dent. His opponent, James Warfield, is a native of Wisconsin who has finished all 22 of his victims. Fighting up a weight class, this is an opportunity for Warfield to finally break through and grab that signature win over a big name that he’s been searching for.

NAAFS 170-POUND CHAMPION KYLE BAKER IS READY TO MAKE A STATEMENT TO THE BIG LEAGUES

Defends his belt against Bellator vet Chris Lozano

Cleveland, Ohio (USA): Every professional fighter makes sacrifices they do so that they can be the very best they can be and make it to the top. Kyle “Alley Cat” Baker is no different.

Despite a solid record of 10-6, Baker has yet to perform on a national stage. After starting off his career with three losses in four fights, “Alley Cat” has righted the ship, and has gone 9-3 since that time. A strong finisher, he has knocked out seven of his ten victims, and has taken on well-known fighters such as Bellator contender Douglas Lima, and UFC vets Chad Reiner, Drew Fickett, Brian Foster, and Lucio Linhares. In his last NAAFS bout, Baker knocked out Nick Duell to capture the welterweight crown.

In short, his resume is impressive.

Now, “Alley Cat” will face off with “The Cleveland Assassin” Chris Lozano, and ultra-tough Bellator vet, in the main event of the NAAFS’ “Fight Nite in the Flats VIII” on Saturday, June 2nd at Jacobs Pavilion in Cleveland. If Baker can win decisively, he is likely to garner the attention of the UFC, Strikeforce, and Bellator. There’s a lot of pressure riding on his shoulders, but Baker is up for the challenge.
