9:03                    MAJOR AARON BAUGHER   Outstanding American was a 1991 graduate of
                            Ankeny High School and earned a B.S. degree in Education from Minnesota
                            State College in Mankato in 1996. While at Ankeny he was a successful
                            all-around athlete including a state runner-up performance at 160 lbs. as a senior.
                                                                                                                         
9:15                    JEFFREY JAMES NICHOLS, D.O.  Outstanding American
                            A grad of Des Moines Roosevelt, Dr. Nichols wrestled four seasons
                             for the Roughriders and is a self-described “avid fan of Hawkeye and
                            Cyclone wrestling,” having attended five NCAA Championship Meets.
 
9:35                    Mr. Yilek  Lifetime Service Honoree is a 1984 grad of Coe College
                            where he was a two-time captain of the wrestling team, a four time
                            conference champion and three-time most valuable performer. A popular teacher,
                            he dedicated 26 years of his career in education to coaching wrestling. Twenty-four of
                             those years were as a head coach with a year at Woodbine, seven at Carlisle and
                             16 at Belle Plaine before retiring in 2010.

10:03                  JAMY BALL Lifetime Service Honoree A native of New Hampton and graduate of
                            Buena Vista University, Coach Ball started his career in 1983 at Lake Mills. He was
                            an assistant coach to Jack Stanley and assumed the head coaching reins from 1988
                            to 2002, when he assumed the Mount Pleasant head job until retiring from wrestling
                            in 2009.  His 22 years as a head mentor was embellished by several honors.
                            At Lake Mills he authored a dual meet win-loss record of 154-70                                                         
10:15                  DAN DUNHAM- Lifetime Service Honoree Mr. Dunham had two great wrestling
                           coaches and role models – Bob Siddens at Waterloo West High School and Bill Koll
                           at the University of Northern Iowa, both of whom helped shape his teaching and coaching
                          philosophy. He launched a 36-year career in education at Jesup with a four year stint as
                             the head wrestling coach. The 1968-69 school year he was the sophomore coach at
                            Dubuque Senior before moving on to a newly opened Dubuque Hempstead to become
                             their first ever coach. He retired at the end of the 1999 season.

10:25                 BRAD SMITH- Lifetime Service Honoree Smith was a two-time unbeaten Illinois state champ, a two-time prep All-Amer, and a Junior Olympic Champ. At the U of Iowa he was a four year letter winner, a 1976 NCAA champ, and wrestled on two national championship teams.
 
He is one of Iowa’s top prep coaches, leading Lisbon and Iowa City, City High to state prominence. In 13 seasons at Lisbon (144-40-4) and 20 years at Iowa City High (319-120), his teams are 463-160-4 dual matches, which is third best all-time.
