ERIC “OUTLAW” HUNTER TO TAKE ON MIKE OLIVER FOR NABA FEATHERWEIGHT TITLE THIS FRIDAY NIGHT AT HARRAHS PHILADELPHIA

PHILADELPHIA (September 8, 2013)—Quality veteran Mike Oliver has been tabbed at the opponent for Eric “Outlaw” Hunter this Friday night at Harrahs Philadelphia in a battle for the NABA Featherweight title.
The show is promoted by Joey Eye Boxing Promotions.
There will be a press conference this Wednesday night at 7pm at Harrahs Philadelphia with the Championship fight weigh-in being at 6:30 pm Thursday and the full weigh in being Friday morning at 9:30 am.
Oliver of Hartford, Connecticut has a record of 25-5 with 8 knockouts.
He turned pro in 2001 and racked up 21 straight wins which included wins over DeMario Crittenden (1-0); Hassan Wasswa (2-0-2); Darby Smart (8-0-1); Castulo Gonzalez (7-1); Adam Carrera (18-1); Gary Stark Jr. (18-0); Former world champion and Al Seeger (27-2).
After losing two bouts, Oliver won four In a row which included a win over former world champion Mauricio Pastrana.  Oliver will be trying to break a three fight losing streak where he fought fighters with a combined record of 91-3 including former world champions Juan Manuel Lopez and Billy Dib.  He is coming off  an unanimous decision defeat to undefeated Joel Brunker (26-0) on August 17th in Atlantic City.
Hunter of Philadelphia has a record of 17-2 with 9 knockouts and he has won two straight.
The 2004 Olympic Alternate had a stellar amateur career and turned pro in 2005 and won his first five professional bouts.  After suffering his first professional loss, Hunter won ten straight which included wins over Tyrell Samuel (9-1); Jules Blackwell (7-0-2); Wilshaun Boxley (5-1); Leon Bobo (18-5-1) & Andre Wilson (11-4-1) before losing via eighth round disqualification to undefeated Cuban star Luis Franco on a bout that was televised on SHO BOX.
Since that defeat, Hunter has a win over Jason Rorie and in his last bout he scored a ten round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Jerry Belmontes (17-0) on December 8th in a bout that was nationally televised by NBC Sports Network.
In the eight round co-feature, Julio DeJesus (8-3-3, 4 KO’s) of Chester, PA takes on Hassan Young (3-1-1, 1 KO) of Philadelphia in a Jr. Welterweight bout.
In a four round Welterweight bout, Anthony Prescott (1-2-1, 1 KO) of Cherry Hill, NJ battles debuting Carlos Moore of Virginia.
Richard Irizarry of Philadelphia makes his pro debut against Joshua Arocho (3-7-3, 2 KO’s) of Vineland, NJ in a four round Featherweight bout.
Undefeated Lightweight Tyrone Crawley Jr. (4-0) of Philadelphia takes on an opponent to be named.
In a four round Lightweight bout, Josue Rivera (1-2, 1 KO) of Philadelphia takes on Jesus Barbosa (4-3-1, 3 KO’s) of Philadelphia.

ERIC “OUTLAW”HUNTER TO FIGHT FOR NABA UNITED STATES FEATHERWEIGHT TITLE ON SEPTEMBER 13THAT HARRAHS PHILADELPHIA


PHILADELPHIA (September 3, 2013)—On Friday night, September 13th at Harrahs Philadelphia, Eric “Outlaw” Hunter will headline a big night of boxing promoted by Joey Eye Boxing.
Hunter of Philadelphia will take on an opponent to be named for the vacant NABA United States Featherweight title in a bout scheduled for ten rounds.
Hunter of Philadelphia has a record of 17-2 with 9 knockouts and he has won two straight.

VICTOR VASQUEZ HEADLINES AT HARRAHS CHESTER ON SEPTEMBER 14TH

CHESTER, PA (August 2, 2012)—On Friday night September 14th, a night of professional boxing returns to Harrahs in Chester, PA with a star studded lineup promoted by Joey Eye Boxing and David Feldman.

In the main event, exciting Lightweight Victor Vasquez will see action in a ten round bout against an opponent to be named.

Vasquez of Philadelphia has a record of 15-6-1 with seven knockouts.

Vasquez of Philadelphia has built up one of the biggest fan bases in Philadelphia due to his exciting style which always has him in the fight of the night whenever he steps into the ring.

In his last bout, Vasquez scored a six round unanimous decision over Paul Fernandez in a rematch that took place on May 4th at Harrahs in Chester.

Vasquez was impressive in disposing of Gustavo Dailey (4-11) in round four to headline ROUND 3 at Harrahs in Chester on June 3rd, 2011.

Vasquez waged a terrific back and forth war with Osnel Charles before dropping a six round majority decision as part as ROUND 1 at Harrah’s in Chester.

He holds victories over undefeated Thomas McCuiston (1-0); Tyric Robinson (9-4-1) as well as an exciting six round split decision over Bryne Green (5-3) on October 8th in Philadelphia.

Vasquez opponent will be named shortly.

In a six round co-feature, Tony Ferrante of Philadelphia (12-4, 7 KO’s) will take part in a six round Cruiserweight bout.

In a six round Jr. Welterweight bout, Julio Dejesus (5-3-2, 3 KO’s) of Chester, PA will take on an opponent to be named.

In a six round Welterweight bout, Emanuel Taylor (14-1, 10 KO’s) of Edgewood Arsenel, Maryland takes on an opponent to be named.

Scheduled to appear in four round bouts are Lightweight Joey Tiberi (7-1, 5 KO’s) of Newark, DE; Lightweight Wahid Raheem (3-0,1 KO) of Philadelphia; Heavyweight John Mecurio (5-0, 4 KO’s) of Philadelphia; Light Heavyweight Todd Unthank-May (3-0, 2 KO’s) of Philadelphia; 2012 U.S. Olympic team member Super Middleweight Jesse Hart (2-0, 2 KO’s) of Philadelphia; Heavyweight Dan Grafton (1-0, 1 KO); Heavyweight Mark Rideout (1-0) of Philadelphia and Pro debuting Bantamweight Mario Carosella of Philadelphia.
