
UFC superstar Jon Jones training with stable-mate Holly Holm
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (February 27, 2013) -- The "Queen of Boxing," Holly "The Preacher's Daughter" Holm (2-0-0, 2 KO/TKOs), will have her third professional mixed-martial-arts fight tomorrow night (Thursday, Feb. 28) against Katie Merrill (1-0-0, 1 SUB) in the women's feature, starting at 8 p.m ET / 5 p.m. PT, live on the Bellator MMA event from Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
The Holm vs. Merrill bantamweight match will be the main event on the Bellator MMA webcast segment of the show, prior to the action switching to Spike TV. Holm is a combat sports icon in Albuquerque. She is a 14-time, three-division world champion in boxing, considered to be the No. 1 female boxer in the world. She is promoted by Fresquez Productions, managed and trained by John Winkeljohn, and fights for Team Jackson-Winkeljohn MMA. Her stable-mate, UFC superstar Jon Jones, will be working Holm's corner.
