Valley Forge, Pa (August  21, 2014)--On Saturday night, October 4, Boxing Promotions returns to the Valley Forge Casino Resort with a big night of boxing that will be headlined by rising Jr. Lightweight Frankie De Alba appearing in the 8-round Jr. Lightweight bout. The show is promoted by King's Boxing and Peltz Boxing. In the 8-round co-feature, undefeated Jr. Welterweight Naim Nelson will take on Delaware favorite Ryan Belasco. DeAlba of Reading, PA will compete in an 8-round bout. He has won 11 consecutive fights and is unbeaten in his last 15 that has raised his record to 13-1-2 with 5knockouts. During the streak he has defeated two undefeated fighters in Benjamin Burgos and Andrew Bentley. On November 30, he scored a thrilling 4th round stoppage over Osnel Charles. In his last bout, DeAlba scored 5th round stoppage over Pablo Batres on a body shot that took place on June 28 in Reading, PA.  That win earned DeAlba the UBF All America Super Featherweight title DeAlba's opponent will be named shortly. Nelson of Philadelphia is unblemished going 12-0 with 1 knockout.  He has faced good competition with wins over previously undefeated Korey Sloane (1-0) as well as Esteban Rodriguez (5-1-1), Victor Vasquez (15-6-1) to win the Pennsylvania State Lightweight title and in his last bout, the 24 year-old Nelson scored an 8-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Jerome Rodriguez (6-0-3) om May 16 in Philadelphia. Belasco of Wilmington, Delaware has a record of 18-6-3 with 3 knockouts.  Like Nelson, Belasco has faced terrific competition.  He has quality wins over Vasquez (7-1), Jesus Barbosa (4-1-1) & Tyrell Samuel (14-4-1).   He also has draws with undefeated fighters Linwood Hurd and Brian Miller.  In his last bout, Belasco dropped a 10-round unanimous decision to Rod Salka (17-2) in a bout for the NABA USA Lightweight title on October 12, 2013 in Salka's hometown of Pittsburgh. From troubled childhood to potential riches, introducing undefeated Welterweight Pat Kehoe

READING, PA (JUNE 20. 2014)--When professional boxers say in interviews that they are "Born Fighters" sometimes its just bravado and sometimes it holds true. For 27-year old Pat Kehoe it is the latter and through all of his trials, it has made him a better person as he prepares for his 2nd professional bout on June 28 when he takes on Danny Lugo (2-7, 1 KO) in a 4-round Welterweight at the Santander Arena. He is promoted by King's Promotions. In the main event, rising Jr. Lightweight Frankie De Alba (12-1-2, 4 KO's) will take on Pablo Batres (7-9-1, 2 KO's) in 8-round Featherweight bout. Kehoe made a successful pro debut on April 18 with a 4-round unanimous decision over Shawn Sutton in Allentown, PA. Getting to that bout was a long and bumpy ride that has made Kehoe a strong fighter both on the outside and inside. As a child, Kehoe came from a dysfunctional family where physical abuse was common with his parents abusing alcohol.  Because of that, Kehoe spent different periods being homeless and in foster care. In his teen years, trouble found Kehoe as he took the rap for a robbery and spent five years in prison. "As soon as I went into prison, I knew I had to change my life,"said Kehoe. "I immediately acted upon that and got by GED and took college courses.  I said to myself, I will never come back here." Many in the prison system have those same goals but trouble continued to find them.  Not for Kehoe though. Kehoe always had a liking for sports and gave Mixed Martial Arts a try. He went 4-0 in as an amateur but wanted to improve his stand up game. Kehoe then went to a boxing gym and his his next fight scored a devastating knockout. "I then decided, I wanted to box and stuck with it." Kehoe went 12-3 as an amateur and turned pro. "I have a professional style and at age 27, I knew that this was the time to turn pro." Kehoe, now lives a very stable life as he works in general contracting for a construction company and is happily married with a 3 year-old child with his 2nd child on the way. "I cant wait to fight on June 28 as it means so much to me to fight in Reading as I know I will have great support." Travis Kauffman: I Want It More Than Quezada, I will be the WBU Champ On Nov 30th

Heavyweight contender Travis Kauffman, is set for a home town showdown, against Manuel Quezada, for the vacant World Boxing Union Inter-Continental Heavyweight crown, on the Marshall Kauffman King’s Boxing promoted ‘GET READING TO RUMBLE’ mega event at the Santander Arena, Reading, PA, on Saturday 30th November 2013.

 
Since turning pro in 2006 Travis has racked up an enviable twenty six wins, nineteen by stoppage finish, and just the single loss, against Tony Grano in September ’09. 


Even though this isn’t his first tilt at a Championship - having secured the WBF Inter-Continental title in May 2010, with a sensational second round stoppage of Youngstown, Ohio’s Chris Koval - Travis is so determined
to secure the coveted WBU crown, that for the first time in his career he has recruited a new member to his training team, former World Cruiserweight Champion Al Cole.

 
Travis clearly feels that the introduction of the former World Champ is the ace up his sleeve, that will ensure his success on November 30th, as he made clear when he spoke earlier.

 
“I don’t underestimate him at all, he may not have boxed for a while but he’s been fighting in MMA, so he is fight ready.

 
He’s had more championship experience than me, but I have a lot of experience in the amateurs and I’ve had a lot of professional experience as well.

 
I’ve been extremely busy, this is my fourth fight in less than a year, I’ve dedicated myself in camp and there’ll be a new Travis Kauffman on the 30th, which I don’t think anybody has ever seen.

 
I’ve been sparring Tomasz Adamek, he’s been helping me for November 30th and I helped him for his November 16th fight.

 
I don’t think you can get better sparring than I’ve had for this fight, I’ve also sparred Brian Jennings and we’ll be brought him back into the camp, I’ve also been sparring Monte Barrett, so you can see I’ve been sparring World class fighters.

 
To prepare me for my fight, besides my father Marshall Kauffman, Al Cole a former Cruiserweight Champ of the World, he’s helping train me.

 
I don’t like to have a whole bunch of people around me, I’m not someone who has an entourage of trainers and the like.

 
This is the first time I’ve worked with Al Cole, sometimes he’s a little frustrated when we’re learning something new, but he’s aching for me to win the Heavyweight title, he held the Cruiserweight title for six years and was unbeaten, but he never won the Heavyweight title

 
I’m really up for it, I’m training really hard, I’m really enjoying my boxing and I think everything’s going in the right direction.

 
I feel I want it more than he wants it, I’m really enjoying my boxing and I will be the WBU Champion on November 30th.”
