Baltimore Boxing to Donate Turkeys for Thanksgiving

Baltimore, MD (November 23, 2014) – Jake Smith and Baltimore Boxing Promotions will spend Thanksgiving Eve handing out turkeys to feed the homeless.

Along with a number of the boxers competing Saturday evening at the Myers Pavilion as part of an anti-bullying themed card and his sponsors, Smith is stopping by numerous Baltimore area shelters to assist those in need.

“Having a nice meal on Thanksgiving is something we all take for granted,” said Smith, who has assisted various causes throughout the beltway region in association with his fight cards. “There are a lot of people out there that can’t afford food and don’t have a roof over their head. Nobody deserves that, especially during the holidays. Thanks to generous help from my friends at Regi’s Bistro, we’re going to do everything possible to ensure everybody in need has a Happy Thanksgiving.”

Tickets to Baltimore Boxing’s next card are available on Baltimoreboxing.com or by calling 410-375-9175.
