(FORT SMITH, AR) - A pro wrestling hall of famer, two other notable legends and current national favorites will be on hand Saturday, June 2 when TCW Wrestling returns to the Fort Smith Convention Center.
"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, a member of the World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Fame, will be in action at the TCW event that will be filmed for national distribution on ME-TV Arkansas and worldwide via the Internet. Bell time for the show is 6:45 p.m.
Duggan will face Prince Al Farat, one of the most hated Mid-Eastern wrestlers in the world today.
Also scheduled to appear are two World Championship Wrestling (WCW) legends - Disco Inferno and "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton of Midnight Express fame.
TCW International Champion and Arkansas native Tim Storm will team with the 7-foot-tall Titan in a tag team battle with members of the Bradford Exchange, managed by Boyd Bradford.
The show will also feature favorites including VH-1 CelebReality Star and Russellville native Matt Riviera, TCW Junior Heavyweight Champion "Golden Boy" Greg Anthony, "Mr. Saturday Night" Michael Barry, "All That" Alan Steel, Rich Rude, The Good Old Boys, Lars Manderson, Angel, Greg King Jr., Athena and Lorelei Lee. TCW's broadcast team of former WCW announcer Chris Cruise, former American Wrestling Association and World Wrestling Federation announcer Ken Resnick, Brian Thompson and Tom Simon will also be in attendance for the television tapings.
Tickets for the show are $30 for VIP Row One seats; $20 for VIP Rows 2 - 3; and $10 for general admission. VIP ticketholders will be entitled to attend a pre-show meet and greet with the stars beginning at 5 p.m. Fans may purchase tickets online at www.tcwwrestling.com or at Papa John's Pizza and Fort Smith Radio Group in Fort Smith or Super Save Drug in Van Buren.
