Sunbelt Championship Wrestling

(Daytona, FL) - Since the announcement of the formation of Sunbelt Championship Wrestling, based in Daytona Beach, FL promoters Chris Lash and Ron Niemi, both moving back to Florida, have been hard at work preparing for the debut show. "Hot Day in Hell" will take place on Saturday, October 27th at the Coca-Cola Pavilion at Destination Daytona. This premiere event center will allow Sunbelt to emphasize production values featuring a 30 foot wide/20 foot high entrance and a ten foot video screen with individual wrestler videos, not seen on independent promotions today. "We have spared no expense for our debut show.  We have the best venue and production in Florida from the start" said Niemi.

Sunbelt will specialize in tag team wrestling, and "Hot Day in Hell" will begin a two show tag team tournament featuring the best tag teams in the state of Florida and beyond. Teams already signed to appear include Bumz Are Us, The Dark City Fight Club, Ricky Santiago/Mike Cruz, Brooklyn Shore, and the return of The Shane Brothers (formerly Gymini in the WWE). Popular Georgia Tag Team The Hate Junkies had to pull out of the tournament when member Dany Only was called to Afghanistan on work detail.

Also signed to appear is former WWE/TNA wrestler Stevie Richards, as he battles former TNA wrestler Jesse Neal. Sunbelt has also announced the controversial formation of a group of women valets who will be known as the "Ring Rats".   "This non-wrestling group is not to be precieved as a negative, but a beautiful positive edition to our shows. They will highlight our shows and be treated with respect. All interested women can post their photographs at our official Facebook site to be considered" said Lash.

The promotions official Facebook page is: http://www.facebook.com/SunbeltChampionshipWrestling and the promotions website is www.sunbeltchampionshipwrestling.com

More announcements are forthcoming, including a legendary edition to the show, and negociations continue for all of Sunbelt's shows to be on IPPV. "We're here to take over the state, and our goal is to outdraw TNA". added Niemi.
