Mobovivo Releases Companion App For AXS TV Fights

Mobovivo Gamification, Socialization, and Information Platform Powers AXS TV Fights

(Los Angeles, August 23, 2012) — Mobovivo and AXS TV announced the official release of the AXS TV Fights iPhone and iPad Companion App, which is now available in iTunes. AXS TV, the largest independently owned and operated network, is the premiere television destination to live LIVE with the best events in pop culture, biggest acts in music, and hottest breaking news and trends in entertainment.

The network’s AXS TV Fights is renowned for its Friday Night Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and Kickboxing LIVE events. While watching the live fights, the AXS TV audience can use the AXS TV Fights companion app to find out more about their favorite Mixed Martial Arts athletes, chat with fighters, hosts and other fans and vote on fight results as well as predict the round winner, see how others voted, check the leaderboard, connect on Facebook, and win the champion's gloves. Between live fight broadcasts, the companion app has exclusive content and videos, and keeps fans engaged with enhanced content from AXS TV Fights.

The AXS TV Fights app is developed with Mobovivo’s StayTuned Second Screen Platform, an award winning second screen platform. Mobovivo recently earned a top 10 TV Disruptor nod at the Cannes MipTV Festival and best cross platform app at Digital Alberta.

“We set out to create a heads up and hands down experience for viewing TV," says Mobovivo founder and CEO, Trevor Doerksen. “TV audiences using the app are engaged longer, switch channels less, and view more advertising - audiences don’t reach for the remote control while watching AXS TV Fights with the companion app”.

The AXS TV Fights app is available in the iTunes App Store. Download it now: http://bit.ly/HDNetFights.

“While our viewers our watching AXS TV live on TV they receive synced content enhancements on second screens,” said Mark Cuban, AXS TV co-founder and President. "Viewers now have a way to engage even deeper with our live programming with the AXS TV Fights app. We love to provide audiences with the opportunity to spend more time with AXS TV content.”
