STEVENSON vs. GEORGE Super Middleweight IBF Title Eliminator Friday, October 12 at 7pm / Bell Centre

In a few weeks Groupe Yvon Michel will begin its ninth year of operation. As previously announced the GYM Boxing Series "Fast & Furious" is back with an improved version 3.0 at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Always a co-presentation of Mise-O-Jeu and Videotron and with the support of evenko and the Bell Centre, it proposes this time four events, two in the fall and two in 2013, being chosen dates on October 12, December 14, February 8 and May 3.

International recognition:
Jean Pascal is still the main key boxer of the organization and the goal this year is to allow him to become world champion again. Soon as he is fully recovered from his injury and he has resumed training a date for his return will be determined. "Fast & Dangerous 3.0" is designed to allow Adonis Stevenson, Antonin Decarie, Kevin Bizier, Eleider Alvarez to consolidate their position among the top contenders in their division until an opportunity to fight in World Championship , re-launch David Lemieux on the international scene and provide to the  heavyweight Didier Bence and Oscar Rivas learning fights. Other boxers will have the opportunity to assert themselves within this series thanks to the close collaboration of Hennessy Sports Canada, Eye of the Tiger Management and Boxing Club East.

New for 2012-2013:
New for this season is found at three levels, ticket prices, a new configuration and fighting with cause!

Configuration:
The configuration of this year will encourage more welcoming atmosphere while the central placement of the ring allow visual access to all seats on the Jumbotron screens that either stands or ringside. With the tables of this last season we added VIP seating sections "Ringside".

Season tickets for $144:
As in the past, the public has the privilege to get season’s tickets for 4 events at the Bell Centre while enjoying an interesting discount on the regular ticket price. This year the price of these has been cut by more than 50% while the spread is now $ 40.50, $ 70.50 and $ 110.50 in the stands. With the discount we can now purchase a season ticket for the modest sum of $ 144 for the 4 events in the red, an average of $ 36 ticket.

Fighting for charities:
More at each event GYM will present a battle for a charitable cause between two personalities uninitiated to the sport in a clash of 3 rounds of 2 minutes under the supervision of Boxing Quebec. The challenge, a $ 2,000 purse given to the organization chosen by the winner. The purpose of the exercise, in addition to serving a good cause, is to provide an opportunity that two people could never imagine a day of climbing the ring and prepare to live the same emotions as real boxers! The first belligerent for these fights will be: Pullman, 3412 avenue Park vs. Filet 219 rue Mont-Royal O. Gabriel Jauvin, sommelier at Pullman, will cross gloves with Denis Lessard, the butler of the Filet in the light cruiserweight division. The two boxers of one day chose to make their purse donation respectively to the foundation of Père Sablon or foundation Ali and Princes Street.

First Gala October 12, Stevenson vs. George:
It is on the hubcaps that GYM will launch the series on October 12 at the Bell Centre while the awaited  super middleweight  IBF title eliminator between Quebec Adonis "Superman" Stevenson (18-1-0, 15KO) and American Donovan "Da Bomb" George (23-2-1, 20KB) will the stars in the main event. "We are particularly pleased to resume our activities with this improved series of Fast & Furious even more accessible to fans, which will, in a great atmosphere, provide great opportunities to young GYM’s boxers promised to bright futures. We are also proud of the importance and challenge of our first final between Adonis “Superman” Stevenson and Don “Da Bomb” George that sets the tone for a year especially crucial for our boxers.", to say the president of GYM Yvon Michel.
