Takedown Wrestling Media and Stryker-Indigo New York Announce Partnering Agreement

Sept. 6, 2012 - Des Moines, IA/ New York City  - Takedown Wrestling Media (www.takedownradio.com) announced today that they have reached a content-sharing and media partnering agreement with Stryker-Indigo New York (www.strykerindigo.com) and its Boxscore World Sportswire division (www.boxscorenews.com).  Under the terms of the agreement, both corporations will work together to develop expanded international news and information operations in an effort to promote and grow the sport of wrestling.

The partnering move by Takedown Wrestling Media and Stryker-Indigo is both important and strategic. It will allow both companies to work together to promote the sport at all levels and to disseminate wrestling news globally to fans as well as the general public.

As part of the agreement, Takedown's Hall of Fame Headlines Show operations would be promoted through the Sonahr Sports History platforms (www.sonahrsports.com) creating additional outlets and news and information structures for wrestling fans. According to Fosty, "SONAHR is a global network of sports historians and writers affiliated with Boxscore. They are an invaluable part of Stryker-Indigo's efforts to promote sports at the international level.  By having the history and heritage of wrestling promoted via SONAHR we will be able to work with Takedown Wrestling to highlight wrestling's legacy and to educate future generations on the sport's glorious past." 

The National and International products produced by Takedown Wrestling Media include: Takedown Wrestling Radio, Takedown Wrestling TV, USA Wrestling Weekly and the Hall of Fame Headlines Show. These programs along with 100's of yearly stand alone audio interviews will be featured on a number of Boxscore World Sportswire and affiliated platforms.  At present, there are more than thirty websites and online sports platforms operated by, or affiliated with,  Stryker-Indigo New York and its Boxscore World Sportswire division.

The partnering agreement between Takedown Wrestling Media and Stryker-Indigo is the eighth major media partnering agreement between Stryker-Indigo New York and an international online sports media company in recent months. The agreement is part of a global strategy by Stryker-Indigo to create a worldwide network of independent online sporting news outlets designed to compete against larger media companies and sporting platforms. The move comes exactly five-months after Stryker-Indigo unveiled plans to spin-off its Boxscore World Sportswire division and create an independent global media company beginning in January 2013.
