                        Now a 3 x honoree. Stutzman, just finished his eighth season, led Bloomsburg to a 17-3

                        rec. won the outright EWL Dual Meet champ for the first time in school history with a

                        6-0 record. The Huskies finished the year ranked 15th in the country in Division I in the

                        USA Today/NWCA (National Wrestling Coaches Association) poll. During the year the

                        Huskies beat three top-20 teams (Maryland, Pitt and Edinboro and were also invited to the

                         first-ever “Grapple at the Garden” at Madison Square where the Huskies faced Missouri.

                        here are some facts related to the sport of wrestling at the high school level across

                        the country:  Currently, wrestling is the 6th most popular sport among high school

                        athletes with over 272,000 participants annually.  Currently, over 8,000 girls wrestle at the

                        high school level and 22 colleges have women’s wrestling programs. Currently there are

                        over 350 college wrestling programs, with 72 new programs since 1999.
