London, England (April 22, 2014) - Former title challenger Joseph Duffy (10-1) is set to return to the CWFC lightweight division.
Duffy has signed a five-fight deal that will commit him exclusively to Cage Warriors Fighting Championship for a minimum period of 18 months.
The 26-year-old hasn’t competed in MMA since 2011, having opted to make the switch to boxing after returning from a lengthy injury lay-off.
Duffy debuted as a professional boxer in March of last year, going on to put together an undefeated 7-0 record, which included two wins by TKO.
However, the Irishman has now decided to leave boxing behind, in favour of a return to MMA and CWFC, for whom he previously competed on five occasions.
