BUTE v. GRACHEV COMING TO WEALTHTV ON NOVEMBER 3RD WealthTV’s All In When it Comes to World-Class Boxing

SAN DIEGO, CA (October 16, 2012)—On Saturday night November 3^rd, former IBF Super Middleweight champion Lucian Bute will take on undefeated Denis Grachev in a twelve round fight for the NABF Light Heavyweight championship.  The card will be televised LIVE in the United States on WealthTV and will originate from the Bell Centre in Montreal.

Bute of Montreal has a record of 30-1 with twenty-four knockouts.  He is the long reigning IBF Super Middleweight champion winning the belt in October of 2007 with a eleventh round knockout of Alejandro Berrio.  Bute went on to defend the title nine times with wins over World Champion William Joppy, Brian Magee and Glen Johnson plus top challengers Librado Andrade (twice), Fulgencio Zuniga, Edison Miranda, Jesse Brinkley and Jean Paul Mendy.  

This past May, Bute suffered his first career setback when he was stopped by three-time World champion Carl Froch.  Bute needs a win to set up the highly anticipated rematch with Froch.  But first he has to get by the upset minded and undefeated Grachev. 

Grachev of San Diego, by way of Chaykovsky, Russia has a record of 12-0-1 with eight knockouts and is coming off the biggest win of his career when he stunned highly ranked and undefeated Ismayl Sillakh (17-0) this past April 27^th.  Grachev has defeated two previously undefeated fighters, namely Azea Augustama and Valdine Biosse (9-0), in a fourth round stoppage. 

WealthTV is coming off a strong trifecta weekend in professional boxing.  The three card weekend kicked off Friday with a classic IBF Super Middleweight elimination bout that saw Adonis Stevenson score a sensational twelfth round knockout over Donovan George.  Saturday saw the explosive first round knockout for David Price over former Audley Harrison that was  the battle of British Olympians and topped off the evening with 2008 Olympic Gold Medal winner James DeGale scoring a twelve round unanimous decision over Hadilla Mohoumadi. 

WealthTV has previously announced that on October 27^th, top American Heavyweight Franklin “Yah Yah” Lawrence will take on battle tested Dominick Guinn and on November 17^th in a bout in what many are predicting a “Fight Of The Year “Candidate as WBO Flyweight champion Brian Viloria and WBA Flyweight champion Hernan “Tyson” Marquez will do battle in a much anticipated unification bout.

ALEJANDRO BERRIO RETURNS THIS FRIDAY JUNE 15, 2012 IN COLOMBIA

June 12, 2012 - Columbia's former super middleweight champion, Alejandro Berrio (32-5, 29 KOs), returns to the ring this Friday, June 15, when he faces fellow countryman Evert Bravo (18-4-1, 14 KOs) in the 10-round main event at the Coliseo Cubierto Elias Chegwin in Barranquilla, Colombia.

Berrio has big wins against current WBO super middleweight titlest, Robert Stieglitz (42-2, 23 KOs) and American Yusaf Mack (30-4-2, 17 KOs), giving both fighters their first losses as professionals. 

"I know I can beat anyone in the world if I'm 100 percent focused,'' said Berrio. "I've proven that I'm a fighter that can compete on the championship stage.  I'm looking to knock out my opponent and move on to a big fight, hopefully a world title shot."

ATLANTIC CITY’S BIGGEST BOXING WEEKEND KICKS OFF WITH IMPORTANT TITLE CLASH

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (April 2, 2012)—On Friday night April 27th, The biggest boxing weekend in Atlantic City kicks off with an important USBA Title clash when Omar Sheika takes on Yusaf Mack.

The show is promoted by Nedal Abuhumoud’s Nedal’s Promotions and Andre Kut’s KEA Boxing.

Sheika of Paterson, New Jersey has been a mainstay at the top of the Super Middleweight and Light Heavyweight divisions for sixteen years. He won his first fourteen bouts and went on to beat former world champions Simon Brown and Glen Johnson.

The thirty-five year old Sheika challenged Joe Calzaghe, Eric Lucas; Jeff Lacy and Markus Beyer for world Super Middleweight supremacy but each time came up just a little bit short.

Sheika, 33-11 with twenty-one knockouts is coming off an action packed ten round unanimous decision over Tony Ferrante on February 24th in Chester, PA
Mack of Philadelphia has a record of 29-4-2 with seventeen knockouts and his been at the top of the Super Middleweight and Light heavyweight rankings for the better part of the last half decade.

The thirty-two year old Mack was undefeated in his first twenty-four bouts (22-0-2) which included wins over Donnell Wiggins, Shannon Miller (for the USBA Super Middleweight title), Richard Grant (title defense) and Christian Cruz (title defense) as well as a draw with former world title challenger Randy Griffin.

Mack also has big wins over Jose Juan Vasquez (16-1-1); Daniel Judah (22-2-3) and Chris Henry (23-1). He won the USBA Light Heavyweight crown with a split decision over Otis Griffin

Mack has only lost to top fighters in former world champions Alejandro Berrio & Glen Johnson as well as former world title challenger Librado Andrade.

In his last bout, Mack put up a terrific effort before being stopped by IBF Light Heavyweight champion Tavoris Cloud.
