Bellator Results from the Visalia Convention Center

Visalia, CA. (October 4, 2013) – The final results are in for Bellator MMA’s event live from California’s Visalia Convention Center. The event was headlined by the Bellator Heavyweight Semifinals with Cheick Kong defeating Mark Godbeer and Vinicius Spartan finishing Lavar Johnson to advance to the Bellator Heavyweight Tournament Final.

The Bellator Middleweight Tournament continued with Brennan Ward defeating Joe Pacheco and Mikkel Parlo outlasting Jason Butcher in the semifinal rounds. Ward and Parlo will fight in the Bellator Middleweight Tournament Final on November 8^th from the Winstar World Casino in Thackerville, Okla.

The night also featured the Bellator Bantamweight Tournament Final with Rafael Silva defeating Anthony Leone to earn his world title shot against current Bellator Bantamweight World Champion, Eduardo Dantas.

Bellator MMA Weigh-In Results from Visalia, California

Visalia, CA. (October 3, 2013) –The Bellator MMA weigh-ins have been completed from the Visalia Convention Center in preparation for Bellator MMA’s October 4th event, which will showcase the Bellator Heavyweight and Middleweight Semifinals and the Bellator Bantamweight Tournament Final.

Bellator MMA will take place from the Visalia Convention Center on Friday, October 4th with the first fight taking place at 4:00 p.m. PST and streaming LIVE on Spike.com. The televised portion of the night will begin at 6:00 p.m. PST and will air LIVE on Spike TV.

Heavyweight Tournament Begins from California’s Visalia Convention Center on Friday, October 4th

Newport Beach, CA. (September 23, 2013) – California’s Visalia Convention Center welcomes Bellator MMA’s Toughest Tournament In Sports on Friday, October 4^th, 2013. The night will feature the start of the Bellator Heavyweight Tournament, the highly anticipated Bellator Middleweight Semifinals, as well as a stacked preliminary card of California’s best talent.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at www.visaliatix.com or by visiting the Visalia Convention Center Box Office. The event will broadcast live starting at 6 p.m. PST on Spike, as well as in Spanish language on mun2.

The night will be headlined by the debut of French heavyweight Cheick Kongo as he battles Mark Godbeer in the Heavyweight Semifinals. A bantamweight finals fight between Rafael Silva and Anthony Leone will also be featured, along with the semifinal rounds of the Season 9 Bellator Middleweight Tournament. After suffering an injury in the opening around, semifinalist Perry Filkins has been replaced by “The Juggernaut” Joe Pacheco.

Visalia’s own Kenny Ento will fight in front of his home crowd and face England’s Michael Page in an explosive battle. Page remains undefeated after beating Ryan Sanders within 10 seconds into the first round of his Bellator Debut in March. Bryan Travers will be making his Bellator debut after appearing on the first season of Bellator’s “Fight Master”. Ten of California’s top-athletes will fight on the preliminary card and all of the preliminary fights can be viewed live and free on Spike.com beginning at4:30 p.m. PST.

Sinclair Out Of Lightweight Tournament, Ricardo Tirloni Now Set To Face Rich Clementi September 27th From Portland

Newport Beach, CA. (September 9^th, 2013) – A knee injury has forced England’s Rob Sinclair out of the Bellator Season 9 Lightweight Tournament, which takes place September 27^th from Portland’s Moda Center on September 27^th live on Spike. Sinclair will now be replaced by Bellator veteran Ricardo Tirloni. The Brazilian submission ace was originally scheduled to face Marcin Held in a lightweight feature fight, but will now move into the tournament, while Held will take on Portland native Ryan Healy.

The event will broadcast LIVE starting at 6 p.m. PST on Spike, as well as in Spanish language on mun2. The preliminary card will be streamed LIVE and FREE on Spike.com starting at 4 p.m. PST.
