GH3 PROMOTIONS DORSETT BARNWELL & JERRY ODOM BACK IN ACTION THIS SATURDAY IN NORTH CAROLINA

NUTLEY, NJ (DECEMBER 13, 2013)--THIS SATURDAY, two members of the GH3 Promotions stable will be in action at the Mustang Crossfit Fitness Center @ Oakridge in Oakridge, North Carolina.

Undefeated Super Middleweight Jerry “The King’s Son” Odom will take on Marcus Brooks (7-17, 3 KO’s)in a six round Super Middleweight bout while undefeated Heavyweight Dorsett “The Bullet”  Barnwell battles Earl Ladson (15-21-1, 7 KO’s) in a six round bout.

Odom, 6-0 with 6 knockouts of Bowie, Maryland is getting right back in the ring after his 1st round destruction over Eric Moon just ten day previous in New York City.

“The is the first time I have fought back to back,” said Odom.  “But I went right back in the gym after my last fight.  I like being this active”

Although Brooks is by far the most experienced pro that Odom has faced to date, Odom does not know much or is bothered by that.

“All i know is that he is susceptible to uppercuts and i plan to expose that.”

Being that this will be the last fight of 2013 for Brooks, he sees a big leap by this time next year.

“By this time next year, i expect to be fighting on television on a bigger scale.”

Barnwell (10-0, 5 KO’s) of Norfolk, VA. will be making his third start of 2013 and is coming off a 3rd round stoppage over Marlon Hayes on August 23rd.

“Everything has been good, “ said Barnwell.  “I been putting in the work.  I been in the gym twice a day.  I been doing strength and conditioning and everything is doing good.”

Barnwell knows that the next year is a pivotal moving year and he knows that by this time next year, he could be on the verge of big things.

“I  hope to be about 17-0 by this time next year and hopefully have at least one regional belt.  Being in that position will have me on television and then everyone can see what I see in my abilities.  2014 will be my year and I will do whatever I have to do to get my name out there.”

Odom is scheduled to fight January 17th in Memphis, Tennessee on a SHO BOX undercard

Barrnwell will be back in action on January 31st in West Orange, NJ on an ESPN’s Friday Night Fights undercard.

DOMINIC BREAZEALE BACK IN ACTION TONIGHT

Fayetteville, North Carolina (July 5, 2013) - Heavyweight prospect Dominic "Trouble" Breazeale (5-0, 5 KO's) makes his anticipated return to the ring this evening and will be featured in the co-main event for "Fight Night - Independence Explosion" in Fayetteville, North Carolina.  What's particularly special about this event, is that it is the first time since 1999 that boxing is returning to Fort Bragg, home of the nation's largest military installations.  It comes at a perfect time as the nation just celebrated it's 237th year ofIndependence yesterday. A year ago, Breazeale represented the United States of America in the 2012 London Olympic Games participating in the Super Heavyweight division.  Since that time, Breazeale couldn't have asked for a better start to his professional career.  Following his televised ShoBox pro debut in November, Breazeale has continued to make quick work of his opponents ending of all his bouts in two rounds or less.  Under the tutelage of world renowned boxing trainer John Bray, Breazeale is continuing to improve and is adjusting very well to the professional ranks.  So well, that it has caught the eyes and attention of respected veteran trainers and heavyweights alike. This past April, WBA World Heavyweight Champion Alexander Povetkin invited Breazeale and Bray to Russia to spar with the champ in preparation for his world title bout.  Dominic made a great impression sparring up to ten rounds with the champ.  It was a great experience for him and he was appreciative of the opportunity.     When asked about the opportunity to spar with Povetkin, Breazeale indicated that, "it was a great experience and a great opportunity to get in the ring with the WBA world champ. The sparring was invaluable to my career and I'm ready to show case the skills that I've learned in the ring".  Bray, also noted that "it was a good experience for Dominic to experience Alexander Povetkin's camp, which was a world class environment.  Dominic learned a great deal being in the ring with the champ and he grew and matured in his skills everyday".    So far, 2013 has been a great year for Breazeale as he had the opportunity to fight on high profile undercards and in his last outing, he experienced what it was like to fight on Cinco De Mayo weekend in Las Vegas.  Now, the hard-hitting Breazeale will be featured in his first co-main event with two of his Olympic teammates, battling it out in front of our nation's finest.
