TUFF-N-UFF AMATEUR MMA HEADS TO DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS WITH FRIDAY, AUGUST 1ST EVENT LIVE FROM “THE PLAZA”

Las Vegas, NV - The nation's premier amateur mixed martial arts promotion, Tuff-N-Uff, today officially announced it will bring its exciting live MMA action to downtown Las Vegas for an action-packed night of fights Friday, August 1st live from The Plaza.

Tickets for Tuff-N-Uff: The Future Stars of MMA are on sale now starting at $25 and are available online through www.TuffNUff.com. Ticket prices do not include applicable service charges. Tickets are also available at the Plaza Box Office. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. PT; first bout starts at 7:00 p.m. PT.  Tickets will be $30 the day of the event.

“We are excited to have all of our loyal Tuff-N-Uff fans with us at The Plaza in downtown Las Vegas on Friday, August 1st,” said Jeff Meyer, CEO, Tuff-N-Uff. “We pride ourselves on putting on the best amateur MMA fights in the nation, and this card will be no exception with Oscar Sanchez taking on Casey Kenney in the main event, and the women’s super fight, Roma Pawelek vs. Apsen Ladd, as our co-main event. I’m excited to see everyone come downtown August 1st and cheer on our Future Stars of MMA.”

Tuff-N-Uff’s August 1st main event is a battle between two of the fastest rising flyweights on the amateur circuit with Oscar Sanchez (4-0) taking on Casey Kenney (5-0). Both undefeated, each like to push the pace and finish fights. A fan favorite in Las Vegas, Sanchez hails from the local Torres Gym, while Kenney trains with the highly respected Chris Cariaso out of Rise Combat Sports in Tucson, Ariz.

In the night’s co-main event, the unbeaten law school student Roma Pawelek (5-0) squares off with Aspen Ladd (7-1) in a women’s amateur bantamweight super fight. Both women are considered top prospects in their weight class. Both on the cusp of turning pro, they face off on August 1st for the most important fight in their amateur career.

Tuff-N-Uff Brings “Utah Vs Nevada” to CasaBlanca Resort and Casino for Mayhem in Mesquite IV


The world's premiere amateur Mixed-Martial Arts promotion brings its top prospects back to the CasaBlanca Resort and Casino in Mesquite, Nevada for Mayhem In Mesquite IV on March 1. Over a dozen bouts are scheduled to showcase the very best in amateur talent from Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Arizona and California.

Headlining the event is a sure-fire Fight-of-the-Night candidate between flyweight prospects Oscar Sanchez (1-0) representing Las Vegas, Nevada and Torres MMA against Utah's Team Blackout product, 
Dylon Mullins (2-0). The co-main event features another Las Vegas vs Utah matchup when Chris Flores (3-4) Torres MMA collides with Pit Elevated prospect Westin Wilson (2-1).

Also on the main card, a title bout for the vacant Tuff-N-Uff Lightweight belt, featuring Nevada’s Xtreme Couture's Michael Hobby (3-1) as he takes on California's Melvin Washington (6-1). And in a Lightweight contender bout, Arizona's Andres Ponce (2-0) will face Nevada’s Ruthless MMA fighter Tommy Morales (2-1).

Also on the card, Mesquite, Nevada native AJ Torres (0-0), fighting out of Torres MMA, makes his fighting debut against Xtreme Couture newcomer Corey Conway (0-0) at 135lbs, while Syndicate MMA's Bryce Nowak (2-2) is set to face Cobra Kai product Ian Lujan (2-0) at 145lbs.

Attendees at the event will be given the opportunity to meet The Ultimate Fighter: Season 17 fan-favorite, Roxanne Modafferi, who will be selling her autobiography “Memoirs of a Happy Warrior” before the show.  Fans are then invited to join the Tuff-N-Uff team and both amateur and pro fighters at the official After-Party Featuring DJ Johnny Utah immediately following the event inside the CasaBlanca Showroom.
