Steve Carl signs Paradigm MMA Management for full-service representation

(Irvine, CA)  Steve Carl has signed with Paradigm MMA Management for full service representation.  The Bellator and M-1 veteran has amassed a 19-3 record in his professional MMA career.  While Steve was an active duty member of the United States Army he was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas.  He began training MMA at The Grapplers Lair in Belton, where he trained along side UFC Welterweight TJ Waldburger.  He then made his professional MMA debut in 2005.  The submission specialist holds wins over notable fighters such as, Brett Cooper, Tyler Stinson and Ramico Blackmon.  Of his 19 wins, 14 have come by way of submission with 12 in the first round.

Soa “The Hulk” Palelei signs with Paradigm MMA Management for full-service representation

(Irvine, CA)  Soa “The Hulk” Palelei has signed with Paradigm MMA Management for full service representation.   The Australian Heavyweight fighter has amassed a very impressive record of 18-3 in his professional MMA career.  Soa has not lost a fight since 2010 and is currently on an eight fight winning streak, including seven first round TKOs.  Additionally, all of The Hulk’s 18 career wins have come via finish (14 KO/TKO and 4 submissions).

Lorenz “The Monsoon” Larkin signs Paradigm MMA Management for full-service representation

(Irvine, CA) Lorenz “The Monsoon” Larkin has signed with Paradigm MMA Management for full service representation. The 26-year-old Strikeforce veteran is 13-0-1 in this professional MMA career, including a 4-0-1 record in his five Strikeforce fights. Lorenz will be coming into the UFC’s Middleweight division after making the drop from Light Heavyweight. Lorenz is looking to keep his perfect record in tact and establish himself as a threat in the already talent rich UFC Middleweight division.

Bristol Marunde signs Paradigm MMA Management for full-service representation

(Irvine, CA)  Bristol Marunde has signed with Paradigm MMA Management for full service representation.   In addition to being a M-1, IFL and Strikeforce veteran and Superior Cage Combat’s Middleweight champion, Bristol was recently a participant on the UFC’s reality TV show, The Ultimate Fighter Season 16.  Bristol holds a professional MMA record of 12-7, including winning 9 of his last 11 fights. 

Bristol lives and trains in Las Vegas, Nevada with his wife and son.  He trains at Throwdown Training Center under coaches Peter Pinto and Robert Drysdale. Bristol is excited to sign with Paradigm, stating, “MMA is a fast paced sport and I need a management company like Paradigm that will represent me and fight for me.”

Jake Shields signs with Paradigm MMA Management for full-service representation

(Irvine, CA)  Jake Shields, a professional MMA Fighter in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), has signed with Paradigm MMA Management for full service representation.   Jake is a former Strikeforce World Champion, holds a professional MMA record of 27-6-2 and is widely regarded as a top contender at welterweight.

Jake lives and trains in San Francisco, California with top fighters such as Gilbert Melendez, Nate and Nick Diaz and is coached by Tareq Azim.  Jake said that he was excited to sign with Paradigm and about the opportunities that lie ahead.  Shields went on to say:

UFC fighters Ramsey Nijem and Court McGee sign with Paradigm MMA Management

(Irvine, CA)  Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) up-and-comer Ramsey Nijem and fan favorite Court “The Crusher” McGee have signed with Paradigm MMA Management for full service representation.

 In 2011, Ramsey was the runner-up on season 13 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) reality TV show.  After losing in his UFC debut, Ramsey has gone on to win his next two UFC fights bringing his professional record to 6-2 (2-1 in the UFC).  Ramsey, whose next fight will be against Joe Proctor on December 8^th at UFC on FOX 5, stated that he is excited about the signing and the additional opportunities, “I signed with Paradigm because they bring professionalism to MMA and a new look on the business side of the sport.  They bring the same passion and tenacity that I bring to the cage.”

Court McGee was the TUF season 11 winner and holds a professional MMA record of 13-3 with a 3-2 UFC showing.  Court signed with Paradigm just weeks before his last bout with Nick Ring, however the move was not announced to avoid any potential distraction.  Court was recently featured in an ESPN story called Dead Man Fighting: The Court McGee Story.  “I signed with Paradigm Sports Management because I feel like they have a high level of professionalism and because they are willing to negotiate our contractual agreements to my liking.  Also I feel Paradigm Sports Management has an ethical approach towards procuring endorsement deals that will help financially secure my families future,” The Crusher said of Paradigm.

Ramsey and Court both fight out of The Pit Elevated training facility in Orem, Utah under veteran MMA coach John Hackelman.  Coach Hackelman was the coach of UFC Hall of Famer Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell, in addition to many other top MMA fighters.

Jessica Aguilar Signs with Paradigm MMA Management

(Irvine, CA)  Professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter Jessica Aguilar has signed Paradigm MMA Management for full representation.   Jessica is the #1 Ranked female Strawweight fighter in the world and fights for Bellator Fighting Championships.  She is an amazing individual who is known for her big heart, tremendous work ethic and passion for helping others. 

Jessica has produced a 14-4 record, winning 9 of her last 10 fights and currently riding a 5 fight winning streak.  Her exciting style and personality have made her a fan favorite. Most recently, Jessica defeated Megumi Fujii in a 3 round war that served as the main event at Bellator 69. She trains at American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Florida alongside many of the top fighters in the world.

TJ Waldburger Signs with Paradigm MMA Management

(Irvine, CA)  Professional UFC fighter TJ Waldburger has signed Paradigm MMA Management for full representation.  TJ is 24 years old and a very promising athlete competing in the welterweight division in the UFC.  TJ, who turned pro at 17, has a record of 15-6 and is 3-1 in the UFC with 2 first round submissions.  TJ trains at Grapplers Lair in Belton, TX under coach John Moore and is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

TJ stated this about the signing, “As a fighter in the UFC, the Super Bowl of MMA, I am always looking to stay a step ahead of the competition.  When I heard of Paradigm MMA Management, I found that the firm had a lot to offer.  Then getting to meet with the Paradigm team face to face, I saw a group of successful guys who have passion and love what they do.  I thank God for the opportunity, and look forward to working with Paradigm MMA Management.”
