MICKEY BEY JR. FALLS ILL, NO LONGER ON THIS FRIDAY'sSHOBOX: THE NEW GENERATION TELECAST FROM TURNING STONE RESORT CASINO IN VERONA, NY






NEW YORK (Feb. 25) - Mayweather Promotions rising star Mickey Bey Jr. (19-1-1, 9 KOs), who was set to face Alan Herrera (32-5, 21 KOs) on this Friday's ShoBox: The Next Generation, has fallen ill and therefore forced to withdraw from his scheduled bout.  The telecast, which will take place at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, N.Y., will still feature three of the Promotions hottest stars in J'Leon Love, Badou Jack and Chris Pearson.  It will air immediately following the episode 1 premiere of ALL ACCESS: Canelo vs. Angulo live at 9:30 P.M. ET/PT (delayed on the West Coast) on SHOWTIME®.

Bey Jr. most recently defeated Carlos Cardenas last December via a third-round knockout. He was looking to have a repeat performance of his last fight before he fell ill.

In the main event of the evening, undefeated super middleweight contender  Love (16-0, 9 KOs) will face Providence's Vladine Blosse (15-2-2, 7 KOs). In other televised action hard-hitting Jack (16-0, 9 KOs) will meet Derreck Edwards (26-3-1, 13 KOs) in a 10-round super middleweight bout and undefeated  Pearson (13-0, 10 KOs) will take on  Lanardo Tyner (31-8-2, 20 KOs) of Houston, Texas in an eight-round middleweight bout
