Undefeated Derrick Webster headlines Parx Casino Tuesday Night Fights on Tuesday November 25 at the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA, PA (November 19, 2014) - On Tuesday, Nov. 25th, undefeated super middleweight contender Derrick "Take It to the Bank" Webster will headline the third installment of Parx Casino Tuesday Night Fights at 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia.
While Parx Casino joins the event as a title sponsor, Tuesday Night Fights will once again take place at 2300 ARENA, 2300 S. Swanson Street in South Philadelphia, and NOT at Parx Casino.
Webster, a 6-foot- 4 Glassboro, N.J., resident who owns an impressive 17-0 record with eight knockouts, will take on Obodai Sai (23-1, 17 KOs) of Ghana. Webster, who will compete in his fourth fight in 2014, is coming off a six-round, unanimous-decision win over Michael Gbenga on May 30. Sai currently resides in Washington, D.C., and is a former Commonwealth British Empire light middleweight champion with a seven-fight win streak.
In the co-main event, Philadelphia super bantamweight Antonio Dubose (6-0, 2 KOs) takes on Arturo Santiago (7-9-1, 4 KOs) of Puerto Rico.
Presented by Joe Hand Promotions and D and D Management Team, Parx CasinoTuesday Night Fights showcases both amateur and professional fighters from boxing gyms throughout the Philadelphia area.
The November 25 card will feature five professional fights, including the return of fan favorite Avery Sparrow (2-0, 1 KO), who delivered a devastating knockout in his last performance at 2300 Arena. Sparrow takes on Jesus Lule (6-9, 1 KO) of Fort Myers, Fla., in a four-round featherweight bout.
Also, two four-round welterweight pro bouts will feature Jerome Conquest (1-0) andBlair Cobbs (3-0, 3 KOs), both from Philadelphia. Conquest will face Piotr Apostle(1-0) of Atlantic City, N.J., while Cobbs squares off against Julio Sanchez (1-0) of Houston, Texas.
Seven national champions from across the country, including National Golden Gloves champ Christian Carto of Deptford, NJ, will be featured on the amateur card. Carto, who has his sights set on the 2016 Olympics, faces a very tough 114-pound challenger in Jordan White, an eight-time national champion from Landover, Md.

Introducing Jr. Middleweight Donte Wright; set to make pro debut on Tuesday, September 16 at 2300 Arena in Philadelphia
Philadelphia (September 4, 2014)-5 On Tuesday night, September 16, Joe Hand Promotions and D & D Management will present the 2nd installment of Tuesday Night Fights at the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia.
In one of the professional bouts, former amateur standout, Donte Wright will make his professional debut when he takes on Lionel Charles of New York.
Wright, who was a 4-time Philadelphia District Golden Gloves and National PAL tournament champion with close 160 amateur bouts is eaglery anticipating his pro debut.

In the main event, undefeated Super Middleweight, Derrick Webster (17-0, 8 KO's) of Glassboro, NJ will take on an opponent to be named in a six-round bout.
Fresh off his exciting pro debut in the first Tuesday Night Fight's card, Avery Sparrow (1-0) of Philadelphia will square off with Pedro Andres (1-3, 1 KO) of Bridgeton, NJ in a four-round Featherweight bout.
Jerome Conquest of Philadelphia will make his pro debut against William Harris(0-3) of Darby, PA in a Jr. Welterweight contest.
There will be seven amateur bouts prior to the professional card that will be headlined by national Golden Gloves champion Christian Carto and Eric Gordon in a 3-round bout in the 110-pound weight division.

MEET AND GREET THOMAS LAMANNA, ANTHONY YOUNG, DERRICK WEBSTER AND ISIAH SELDON TOMORROW AT THE NEW JERSEY MOTORSPORTS PARK
MILLVILLE, NJ (October 26, 2012)—TOMORROW at the New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, NJ four of the main fighters that will appear on a big night of boxing on November 10th at the Park will be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures with fans.
Undefeated fighters Thomas “Cornflake”LaManna, Anthony “Juice”Young, Derrick “Take It To The Bank”Webster and Isiah Seldon along with National Anthem singer Tatiana Barbosa will be on hand at the Park’s Annual Harvest Weekend.
Both Saturday and Sunday starting at noon, hayrides, pumpkin patches, kids’ zone, face painting, games, and specials at the pub.
The fighters will be there between 12 and 2. LaManna will also be at the park on Sunday (Weather Permitting)

THOMAS “CORNFLAKE” LAMANNA HEADLINES “COMING HOME” BIRTHDAY CARD ON NOVEMBER 10TH
Undefeated Anthony Young, Derrick Webster, Isiah Seldon, Godson Noel & Amir Shabazz Also on Card for NJMP’s First-Ever Boxing Event
MILLVILLE, N.J. – September 19, 2012 -- On Saturday night, November 10th, Gulfstream Boxing Promotions presents a special night of boxing at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, New Jersey. In the main event, undefeated Jr. Middleweight Thomas “Cornflake” LaManna will see action against opponent to be named in a six round bout.
The bout for LaManna is special for a variety of reasons as he will be fighting in his hometown of Millville for the very first time and the bout takes place just two days before LaManna’s 21st birthday.
LaManna is 9-0 with five knockouts is coming off a six round split decision victory over tough Yolexcy Leiva on August 18th in Atlantic City.
“I am very excited about this fight and event coming to Millville”, said LaManna. “It should be a great night of boxing and I want to thank the New Jersey Motorsports Park and my promoter Vincent Ponte for making this dream of fighting at home to come true. I plan to put on a great fight and hopefully this could be the beginning of boxing in Millville.”
In the six-round co-feature, undefeated Jr. Welterweight Anthony “Juice “Young will see action against opponent to be named.
Young, of nearby Atlantic City, has a record of 6-0 with two knockouts and is coming off a four round unanimous majority decision over Richard Andrews on July 27th.
Competing in eight-round bouts will be undefeated Super Middleweight Derrick Webster and Jr. Lightweight Joselito Collado.
Webster of Glassboro, New Jersey, has a record of 13-0 with seven knockouts and is starting to get national attention as he has stepped up the competition in recent bouts. He is coming off an eight round unanimous decision over Sabou Ballagou on April 27th and Webster has recently spent time in the camps of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Andre Ward.
Collado of Queens, New York, has a record of 13-2 with three knockouts has fought top competition. He has an impressive first-round stoppage over Jules Blackwell (8-2-2) and decision over Rafael Lora (11-3). Collado’s only two blemishes have been to top prospect Casey Ramos (14-0) and his last bout when he lost a decision to Jerry Belmontes (16-0) on September 8th.
Also seeing action in a six round bout will be undefeated Middleweight Isiah Seldon.
Seldon, of Atlantic City, has a record of 6-0 with three knockouts and the undefeated son of former WBA Heavyweight champion Bruce Seldon is coming off a second-round stoppage over Kenneth Moody on February 4th.
Appearing in four-round bouts will be Jon Bolden (5-4, 5 KO’s) of New York, Light Heavyweight Amir Shabazz (1-0) of Philadelphia, Middleweight Godson Noel (1-0, 1 KO) of Newark, and amateur star Jr. Middleweight Antoine Douglas of Virginia.
In attendance will be Former WBO and Olympic gold medalist heavyweight world champion Ray Mercer & former Two-Time IBF cruiserweight world champion Steve “USS” Cunningham.
