PRESS RELEASE
For Immediate Release

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. (May 29, 2014) - Iron Mike Productions (IMP) has signed undefeated 2012 Ukraine Olympian Ievgen "The Ukraine Lion" Khytrov (4-0, 4 KOs) to a promotional contract.  IMP will co-promote Khytrov with New York-based Fight Promotions Inc.

"I watched the first few fights of this exceptional young fighter's career and was very impressed," IMP CEO Garry Jonas said. "So, I was pleased when Fight Promotions Inc. approached us to co-promote Khytrov's career. He is an aggressive, accurate puncher whose style of fighting fits with the type of fighters and fights that we want to promote."

The 25-year-old Khytrov, now living in Brooklyn, is being trained by Gary Stark.  The powerful middleweight makes his IMP debut June 6 in a six-round bout against dangerous Chris Chatman (12-3-1, 5 KOs) in the opening fight on ESPN Friday Night Fights, airing live from Turning Stone Casino in Verona, New York.

"This first fight under the IMP banner is a real test for Khytrov," noted Chris Middendorf, IMP Vice President of Boxing Operations. "Chatman has fought seven undefeated fighters, won four of them and been very close to victories in three others, and only Jermell Charlo was able to stop him. Khytrov is a throwback type of fighter and that is why he is perfect with Iron Mike. All he wants is to fight and fight the best."

Khytrov was a highly-decorated amateur boxer with more than 500 matches, highlighted by his 2011 gold medal performance at the World Championships in Azerbaijan, in which he defeated Japan's 2012 Olympic champion Ryota Murata on points in the championship final.

Last December in New York City, Khytrov made his successful professional debut in a scheduled eight-round fight, stopping Christian Nava in the opening round.  He has since knockout out, in order, Romon Barber (3rd), Julius Kennedy (5th) and Jas Phipps (2nd) this past April 10.

Tickets are reasonably priced at $60.00, $35.00, $25.00 and $15.00 and are on sale now at the Turning Stone box office, by calling (315) 361-7469, at any Ticketmaster outlet (800) 745-3000, or visit www.Ticketmaster.com

NEW YORK CITY (September 26 2012) - Staten Island light heavyweight Marcus Browne, a 2012 U.S. Olympian, has signed with the most powerful advisor in boxing, Al Haymon.

Browne was the first Atlas Cops & Kids Boxing Program product to compete in the Olympic Games. Browne is a two-time National PAL champion and 2012 USA Boxing National gold medalist who is trained by Gary Stark at the Park Hill Boxing Club,

Haymon has also signed Browne's 2012 U.S. Boxing teammates Terrell Gausha,Dominic Breazeale, Rau'shee Warren and Errol Spence Jr. Haymon's client list includes Floyd Mayweather Jr., Andre Berto, Adrien Broner, Austin Trout, Peter Quillin, Gary Russell Jr., and Chris Arreola, among the more notables.

The Dr. Theodore A. Atlas Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by renowned boxing trainer and television analyst, Teddy Atlas, in his father's memory. The Atlas Cops & Kids Boxing Program presently operates two gyms, in Park Hill, Staten Island, East Flatbush in Brooklyn and plans to open two more in the Berry Houses in Staten Island, and in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn.

"The boxing program is needed for wayward kids with little or no direction," Atlas continued. "Our gyms give them a place to go for hope; building confidence and making them feel better about themselves. They get the tools there that they need to grow-up and become productive people. It is an important, valuable alternative to violence, crime and drugs. That's what boxing does like no other sport. It helps kids find themselves. Not only do they discover things that they didn't know were available to them, they gain pride and confidence in themselves. Our program is a platform for them to have dignity. The Dr. Atlas Foundation has been helping needy people with medical expenses, relocation assistance, and for other areas like that. But violence is a sickness and we're helping to prevent that with our gyms. I agreed to absorb the boxing program with a twist - education components had to be part of it. We established behavioral rules and conduct with disciplinary consequences. The kids have to keep their grades up if they want to train. Pat Russo did a great job as the PAL boxing program director and he's continuing to do a great job as the director of our program."
