ALANTEZ "SLY AS A" FOX RETURNS JANUARY 12TH

December 21, 2012 - Maryland's undefeated light-middleweight prospect, Alantez "Sly as A" Fox (8-0-1, 4 KOs), makes a quick return to the ring when he faces in-state rival Julius Kennedy (7-2-1, 3 KOs) on January 12, 2013. The 6-round bout will take place at the Rosecroft Raceway in Fort Washington, Maryland as both fighters will have hometown fans cheering them on.

Fox, who stands 6'5, brings a unique look to the boxing ring with his enormous height and reach advantages.  In his last fight on December 8th, Fox demolished veteran Jimmy LeBlanc via first round TKO.  Promoted by Boxing 360, Fox is looking forward to a busy 2013.

"As promised, my promoter Mario Yagobi is keeping me active," Fox said. "I just fought earlier this month and now I have another fight scheduled for January.  The more I fight the better and more comfortable I feel in the ring.  I'm happy to be fighting under the Boxing 360 banner and I feel together we will make some big noise next year.  I'll be ready to go every time my name is called."

KEANDRE LEATHERWOOD & ALANTEZ FOX VICTORIOUS

December 9, 2012 - Boxing 360 fighters, Keandre Leatherwood (12-1-1, 8 KOs) and Alantez Fox (8-0-1, 4 KOs), scored impressive victories on Saturday.

At the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina light-middleweight prospect, Keandre Leatherwood, battered around Marcus Primera (20-27-2, 13 KOs) for six rounds, hurting the journeyman several times before the final bell rang.  The scorecards read 59-53 across the board all in favor of Leatherwood.

"I wanted to get some good hard rounds in and Primera hung in there." said Leatherwood. "I had him hurt a couple of times and I thought he wasn't going to make to the final bell, but he showed great heart and I give him credit for being a warrior and going the distance.  I'm excited about the plans Boxing 360 has in store for me and I'm looking forward to a great 2013."

At the Convention Center in Washington DC, undefeated light-middleweight standout, Alantez Fox, made quick work of veteran Jimmy LeBlanc (13-23-4, 5 KOs), by way of a first round TKO.  After LeBlanc was stunned, Fox landed a barrage of punches, forcing the referee to stop the bout in the opening round.

"I felt really strong going into this fight and I wanted to make a good first impression fighting for Boxing 360," Fox said. "Once I saw that he was hurt, I jumped on him and took him out of there.  I'm still learning a lot about myself every I step in the ring.  Mario Yagobi said he's going to keep me busy in 2013 and I'm ready to take my career to the next level with Boxing 360."

ALANTEZ FOX RETURNS TO THE RING DECEMBER 8TH

 

November 29, 2012 - Undefeated Light middleweight prospect, Alantez Fox (7-0-1, 3 KOs), who hails from Forestville, Maryland, makes his ring return on December 8, 2012 at the Convention Center in Washington DC.  Fox, who stands 6'5, will take on Weymouth, Massachusetts native, Jimmy LeBlanc (13-22-4, 5 KOs) in a scheduled 6-round bout.

Fox, who recently signed a contract with New York Based promotional, company Boxing 360, is excited to be fighting after he suffered his first blemish on his undefeated record when he fought to a SD draw against Frank Galarza (7-0-1, 4 KOs).

"I'm ready to make a round with my new promoter Mario Yagobi and Boxing 360," said Fox. "I've been working real hard since my last fight and I can't wait to step back in the ring. LeBlanc has a lot of experience, but I feel my youth and skills will guide me to victory."

Trained by his father Troy Fox, Alantez feels his father is the perfect trainer to take him to the top.

"My father knows me best and we have a great relationship," Alantez continued. "Right now we have a stong belief in one another and I see us going to the top together."

"My son and I have a mutual respect for each other and we come up with great strategies going into fights," stated Troy Fox.
