ELITE HEAT BOXERS SHINE AT ELITE HEAT TOURNAMENT IN TRENTON


 
TRENTON, NJ (May 6, 2013)—this past weekend, The 3rd Annual Elite Heat Boxing Tournament took place at Trenton High School.
 
This tournament featured some of the top young amateurs in the United States
 
The Elite Heat Boxing Team performed very well taking home a lot of titles and medals.
 
Jr. Golden Gloves National Champ Malik Nelson and Silver Gloves National Champ Jeremy Ardono of Allentown, PA faced off in the 12year old- 80 lbs. class with Nelson winning a 2-1 decision.
 
In a special bout,  2-time Jr. Golden Gloves National Champion Vito Mielnicki, 10 years old and 75 pounds,  stepped up in weight and age  to box Jeremy Ardono, who was a silver glove national champion.  Mielnick won a close 2-1 decision.
 
Zahir Salaam who is 9 years old and 70 lbs. from Elite Heat won a 3-0 decision over Alex Aviles from Asbury Park, NJ
 
Elite Heat’s Ziyaad Hassan who is 11 years old and 90 lbs won a 3-0 decision over Antonio Hall of Plainfield, NJ.
 
John Bauza who is 14 years old and 132 lbs from Elite Heat defeated Luis Rosa from New York.
Dewyke Flemming 9 years old from elite heat won a 3 - 0 decision over Denit Bradwood from Sole City boxing from Toledo, OH.  
 
 Rajohn Chance who is 13 years old and 85 lbs. and a Jr. National Golden Gloves Champion had an impressive stoppage over highly touted Josui Kirkpatrick of Norfolk, VA
 
The Elite Heat Boxing Team will be travelling this Thursday to Quebec, Canada to compete in the Adidas Cup.

ELITE HEAT BOXING TEAM HEADING TO LAS VEGAS FOR JR. GOLDEN GLOVES TOURNEY



NEWARK, NJ (July 17, 2012)—Today the renowned Elite Heat Boxing Team leaves for Las Vegas to compete in the 2012 National Jr. Golden Gloves Tournament.

The twenty-one member team lead by Captain Durrell Perry looks to bring home a lot of hardware.  Perry, 15 years old is a Silver Gloves National champion and he leads a team full of top amateurs such as National champions in ten year old Vito Mielnicki, twelve year old Rajon Chance as well as National runner-up in fourteen year old John Bauza.

The successful team is mentored by Coaches Walli Moses & Robert Griffith as well as six assistant coaches.
