Hendricks Will beat Koscheck with Wrestling and Punches, He Talks to Takedown

Koscheck acts like he doesn't care about Johny Hendricks wrestling background.  When you listen to this interview with Hendricks "the Happy Beard Man"  you get the impression it doesn't matter what Koscheck thinks.

One has to think that the former Edinboro wrestler (Koscheck) would understand the difference between a regular college wrestler and the elite bunch that is Oklahoma State. There is a difference.

You'll see it on display Saturday at UFC on FOX 3 at IZOD Center in East Rutherford, N.J.    Hendricks vs. Koscheck is on the FOX-televised main card following prelims on FUEL TV.  After Koscheck there's a raft of guys just waiting for the opportunity to be in the right place at the right time, prepared for GSP's return.

Listen as Hendricks answers the naysayers when they say he has cruised his way through the UFC. Although he may have cruised in all but one outing, the only top ranked guy he's beaten to this day is Fitch.  For Johny to get a title shot, he'll need to beat Koscheck and others who'll make him more than just the lucky guy who knocked out a perennial contender. I asked him about what Koscheck called "The Lucky Punch" Hendricks told me "If he thinks it's a lucky punch, then don't train for that punch,"

Koscheck knows that he's in the way of Hendricks getting a title shot. Then there's Rory MacDonald, who beat Che Mills at UFC 145. There's Carlos Condit, who's got first right when St-Pierre returns late this year.

The list keeps getting longer. Koscheck keeps getting older or so it would seem.
