"Brooklyn Brawl” to be televised on The Fight Network On Sunday, October 13th


BROOKLYN, NY (October 7, 2013) -- The Full August 22nd Brooklyn Brawl boxing show will be broadcast on October 13 at 11pm on The Fight Network.
The show took place at the Fight Factory Gym and was promoted by Dmitry Salita’s Star of David Promotions.
“”I am very grateful that the NYC fighters will get a chance to get international exposure on a network dedicated promoting the sport of boxing.” said Salita
“The goal of this series is to promote boxing and the great talent of New York” 

The latest addition of Brooklyn Brawl featured competitive fights, sensational knockouts and great fan support from the boxing capital of the world, New York City.” 

In the main event, Jose Torres stopped Miron Kadyrov in a Cruiserweight bout.

In the fight that stole the show, Peter Reyes had to get off the canvas and came back to score a “highlight reel” 2nd round knockout over Juan Zapata in a Super Middleweight bout.

With the stoppage, Reyes in now 3-0 with 2 knockouts.

The show also a 2nd stoppage win by Treysean Wiggins (4-1, 4 KO’s) over Marcus Hall in a Welterweight bout.

Highly regarded amateur Marco Suarez made a successful pro debut with a four round unanimous decision over 15 fight veteran Jermell Tyson in a Welterweight fight.

Other winners included undefeated Mikkel Lespierre (4-0-1) and Anthony Barnes (2-0) as well as pro debuting Jovan Sosa.

In the co-feature, Tresean Wiggins was impressive in dropping Marcus Hall four times in under two rounds in their scheduled six round Welterweight bout.
Also, prized amateur, Marcos Suarez took an ambitious step in his pro debut by taking on 15 fight veteran Jermell Tyson in a four round Lightweight bout.
Suarez showed terrific hand speed and that helped propel him to the unanimous decision victory.
Other winners included Anthony Barnes, Mikkel Lespierre, and Jovan Sosa.
“This was a great night of boxing”, said promoter and currant Welterweight contender Dmitry Salita.
“These are the types of fight nights we are building here.  We saw great competitive fights that were entertaining, we also saw an some incredible knockouts with the Reyes knockout being a Knockout of the Year Candidate as well as great neighborhood fights.”

EXPLOSIVE KNOCKOUTS HIGHLIGHT BRAGGING RIGHTS IN BROOKLYN

BROOKLYN, NY (August 21, 2013)—This Thursday night at the Fight Factory Arena in Brooklyn, Dmitry Salita’s Star of David Promotions presents an seven bout card that will feature many of the future stars of New York.  The show will be streamed on Demand on www.pandafeed.tv beginning this weekend.
In the six round main event, Treysean Wiggins (3-1, 3 KO’s)—146.6 LBS of Newbergh, NY takes on Marcus Hall (6-5-1, 2 KO’s) of Rochester, NY in a Welterweight bout. ---146 LBS
In a six round co-feature, Miron Kadyrov (3-2, 2 KO’s) of Rybalko, Russia—192.8 LBS takes on Jose Torres (1-2, 1 KO) of Springfield, MA—188.2 LBS in a Cruiserweight bout.
Kadyrov now lives in Staten Island and the Russian speaking fighter now lives in Brooklyn.

THURSDAY AUGUST 22ND, “BROOKLYN BRAWL—BRAGGING RIGHTS” IS STACKED WITH CROSS CITY RIVALRIES THAT FOLLOW THE SPIRIT OF NEW YORK’S GOLDEN AGE OF BOXING



BROOKLYN, NY  (August 7, 2013)—On Thursday night August 22nd at The Fight Factory Arena in Brooklyn, Dmitry Salita’s Star Of David Promotions presents “Brooklyn Brawl Bragging Rights”.
“”The show features fighters from different parts of New York that are fighting to climb up contender status.  With the return of world championship boxing to Brooklyn fan enthusiasm is at an all-time high.  The talent pool in New York is tremendous.  The goal for the series is for fighters to show their skills and connect with fans on a grass roots level.” said Salita.

The show lineup includes:
Undefeated Enver Hallili (3-0, 1 KO) of Bronx, NY will take on once defeated former Amateur standout Treysean Wiggins (3-1, 3 KO’s) of Newburgh, NY in a 6 round welterweight clash.  Undefeated Brooklyn's Glenford Nickey (2-0, 1 KO) will take on his toughest test to date when he takes on rugged Bronx contender Joshua Nieves (2-2, 2 KO’s) in a four round Super Featherweight clash.  Undefeated middleweight Brooklyn contender Pete Reyes (2-0, 1 KO) will tussle with Bronx veteran Juan Zapata (2-6-1, 1 KO) in a bout scheduled for four rounds.

A cross roads fights between cruiser weight Brooklyn resident Myron Kadyrov(3-2, 2 KO’s) and Armin Mrkanovic (6-2, 3 KO’s) of Queens is expected to produce fireworks in a bout scheduled for six rounds.

Welterweight pro debuters Mack Babb of Brooklyn and Java Sosa of the Bronx will both look to get their first pro win as they square off against one another in a 4 round bout.

Appearing in a four round  bout will be Brooklyn fan favorite Super Featherweight,Angel Garcia (5-2, 2 KO’s); ,Five-Time  Detroit Golden Gloves champion and Kronk Gym Super Middleweight Anthony Barnes (1-0, 1KO) will take on Joe Yeardon (2-4-2) of Berlin, New York in a  bout scheduled for four rounds;  Two-Time  golden gloves champion and Amateur standout Wessley Ferrer  of Brooklyn will be make his pro debut in a four round Lightweight bout; Featherweight Trevis Hall (3-1-1, 1 KO);  Golden Gloves champion Marco Suarezof the Bronx will all also make his pro debut in a four round Super Middleweight bout. 
Rounding out the show will be Rajiv "Badabing" Bhattacharya (9-0, 6 KO’s) of Brooklyn's Starret City Boxing Club looking to capture the New York State Welterweight title in an bout scheduled for eight rounds.

UNDEFEATED MIDDLEWEIGHT ANTOINE “ACTION” DOUGLAS SCORES SENSATIONAL 2ND ROUND STOPPAGE IN WHITEHALL, NEW YORK


Plus Elite Heat’s Mielnicki and Salaam score wins in amateur bouts

WHITEHALL, NY (April 13, 2013)—Last night at the Whitehall Athletic Club, prized Middleweight prospect Antoine Douglas scored a spectacular 2nd round stoppage over Juan Zapata to raise his perfect mark to 6-0 with 4 knockouts.
Douglas of Washington, D.C dropped Zapata once in round one and two times in the 2nd frame. Douglas worked the body throughout the fight and the body work set up the first two knockdowns. With Zapata’s hands guarding his body, Douglas came upstairs with a devastating left hook to drop Zapata completely out in the 2nd frame.
“That’s the kind of performance we expect from Antoine”, said Vito Mielnicki of GH3 Promotions who promote Douglas along with Greg Cohen Promotions.
“We are keeping Antoine active and he will be on the SHO Box undercard on May 10th in Miami, Oklahoma”
On the amateur portion of the Pro-Am card, Vito Mielnicki Jr. of the Elite Heat Boxing Club won a three round decision over Sharif Danele in the 10 year old-75 lb division.
Mielnicki’s teammate on the Elite Heat Boxing Team, Zahir Salaam scored a decision win in the 9 year old-70 lb. division
Mielnicki and Salaam are trained by former world champion Buddy McGirt and Wali Moses at the Elite Heat Boxing Gym In Newark as well as the McGirt Training Facility in Nutley, New Jersey.
The Elite Heat Boxing team will be traveling to the Adidas Cup that will take place May 9th-May 12thin Terrebonne, Quebec, Canada.
