Passing of Mrs. Glenda Cox

I am sad to announce that Mrs. Cox passed away this morning. As many of you know Mrs. Cox was every LHU Boxer’s second mother and biggest fan.  Also, she served as the NCBA Registration Chairman for a number of years.

The viewing for Mrs. Cox will be held on Sunday, July 15 from 2 - 4 pm and Funeral Services will be on Monday, July 16 at 11:00 am at the Flemington United Methodist Church, 225 High Street, Flemington, PA. After the Service a dinner will be held at the Red Eye Center in Flemington.

Flowers can be sent to Walker's Funeral Home, 231 High St., Flemington. In lieu of Flowers donations can be made to the Lock Haven Salvation Army or the Lock Haven University Boxing Club. Please keep Dr. Cox and his family in our thoughts and prayers during this time.

Today is a sad day for Lock Haven boxing as Mrs. Cox (back row w/ dark glasses) passed away today. She helped keep everything organized and we boxers used to refer to her as "The Pilot" since she often drove us to all of our bouts. She also had the task of keeping Dr. Cox AKA "Doc" in line which was never an easy job. She touched the hearts of all past and present members of the LHU boxing team and we will all certainly miss her!
