"I have had a good training camp, "said the 23 year-old Staton.

In Ellis, he is facing a solid veteran and despite his record 4-13-2 with two knockouts, Ellis is one of those fighters who should have more to show as he been on the wrong end of some bad decisions and has also faced seven undefeated fighters and has wins over Tim Witherspoon Jr. (8-2-1) and Luis Castro (3-0).

"I know that Ellis is taller and longer.  I see he has a good left hook but we will be ok if we just box and stay on out toes."
