Cage Warriors 2014: Schedule Update
London, England (July 4, 2014) - Cage Warriors Fighting Championship CEO Graham Boylan is putting plans in place for a busy second half of the year, with the organisation targetting events in nine different countries before the end of 2014.
Europe’s leading mixed martial arts promotion has already hosted eight events this year, the most recent of which - Cage Warriors 69: Super Saturday - took place in London on June 7 and, unprecedentedly, featured two separate main cards on the same evening.
Dublin, Copenhagen, Amman, Swansea and Liverpool have also played host to CWFC events this year, but according to Graham Boylan, there’s even more to come before 2015 arrives, as the promotion looks set to eclipse the 14 events of last year, which was the busiest in Cage Warriors’ history to date.
After a short summer break, CWFC’s campaign resumes in Dublin on August 16 for CWFC 70, followed by inaugural shows in the Swedish capital of Stockholm a week later and a September date in Newport, Wales.
“We’re going to be very busy between now and the end of the year as we keep the fans entertained with plenty more world-class MMA,” said Boylan.
“As well as several events in the UK and Ireland, plus our first ever show in Sweden, we’re also in the process of finalising events in the USA, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Dubai, details of which I should be able to reveal in the not too distant future.”
Cage Warriors’ forthcoming schedule (more events to be added):
August 16: Dublin, Ireland
August 23: Stockholm, Sweden
September 13: Newport, Wales
November 1: Newcastle, England
December 31: Dublin, Ireland

Weigh-in results and fight card update
Amman, Jordan (December 12, 2013) - The weigh-ins for a disrupted Cage Warriors 61 card took place this afternoon in Amman, Jordan.
Heavy fog at Heathrow Airport in London yesterday wreaked havoc with the travel schedules of several fighters and subsequently forced the cancellation of two bouts.
Mohsen Bahari and Hakon Foss, who were due to catch connecting flights having flown from Oslo, were unable to depart from London in sufficient time so their respective welterweight bouts against Mukhamed Berkhamov and Matt Inman were forced off the bill.
Cage Warriors officials then sought to re-match Berkhamov and Inman in a 170lbs bout against each other, but that proposal was turned down by Berkhamov, who became the third potential opponent for Inman to fall through this week following Bruno Carvalho’s injury withdrawal on Monday.
