FOX SPORTS 1 AND FOX DEPORTES FROM THE HOUSE OF BLUES IN BOSTON

TICKETS ON SALE NOW!

BOSTON (April 14, 2014) - After an exciting night of fights in Boston on St. Patrick's Day, Golden Boy Promotions will return to this boxing rich town to team up with Murphy's Boxing U.S.A and Back East Promotions on Thursday, June 5 with a stacked card at the House of Blues featuring a title defense and a stellar lineup of New England's top prospects. In the 10-round Golden Boy Live! main event featured on FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes, Ontario, Canada's Logan McGuinness faces one of New England's finest, Mike "The Machine" Oliver, in a showdown for McGuinness' NABA Super Featherweight Title.

Plus, unbeaten heavyweight Alexis Santos from Lawrence, Mass. looks to follow up his March 17 stoppage over Sylvester Barron with another big knockout against an opponent to be named in an eight-round bout. Also, in non-televised super middleweight action, Gary O'Sullivan and Mark Deluca will be featured in separate bouts, welterweight Rashidi Ellis and cruiserweight Chris Traietti will face opponents to be named in six-round and eight round bouts respectively.Vinnie Carita will face Boston police officer Tyrone Smith in a rematch following their exciting draw in March.

Fighting out of Orangeville, Ontario, Canada, Logan McGuinness (20-0-1, 9 KOs) is a top Canadian prospect that expects to take his game to the next level in 2014. A professional since 2008, the 26-year-old won the NABA Championship at 126, 130 and 135 pounds. Now he expects to make a run for a world title shot but has to get past the tough Oliver first.

Connecticut southpaw Mike "The Machine" Oliver (26-5-1, 8 KOs) has long thrilled fans in the New England area with his technical boxing skills and ring savvy. The Marine officer owns victories over the likes Gary Stark Jr., Al Seeger and former World Champions Mauricio "Pintoso" Pastrana and Cruz Carbajal. Now, the 34-year-old hopes to give McGuinness a boxing lesson on June 5.

One of the best big men to emerge from New England since former Heavyweight World Champion John Ruiz, 24-year-old Alexis Santos (13-0, 11 KOs) looks to be on his way to big things in boxing's glamour division. A professional since 2009, Santos has ended six of his knockout victories in a single round and with his power and determination he is ready for whoever steps up to fight him.

Cork, Ireland's Gary O'Sullivan (16-1, 10 KOs) got a late start in the professional game, but as an Irish and former WBO International Champion, he's making up for lost time in rapid-fire fashion as he hopes to follow in the footsteps of Steve Collins as a world titleholder.

Quincy native Mark "The Italian Bazooka" DeLuca (9-0, 6 KOs) isn't just a promising up and comer, but a rising star as a trainer in the New England area as well. Owner of five wins in two rounds or less, the 26-year-old power puncher will be bringing the heat on June 5.

Unbeaten in his first five professional bouts, Lynn's Rashidi Ellis (5-0, 3 KOs) is a 20-year-old phenom with "star" written all over him. Flashy, fast and powerful, Ellis makes every fight look like a main event showcase.

Quincy's Chris Traietti (16-3, 12 KOs) is a veteran of the Iraq war and will showcase his fighting spirit in the ring on June 5. Winner of eight of his last nine bouts, with the only loss coming against former world title challenger Edwin Rodriguez, the popular 28-year-old is looking forward to performing for Boston fans once again.

Twenty-nine-year-old Vinnie "Kid Sal" Carita (9-1-1, 9 KOs) is another fan favorite in the Boston area and with all nine of his professional wins coming by knockout, that's no surprise. Carita will be seeking to set the record straight when he faces Boston police officer Tyrone Smith (5-8-3, 2 KOs) as they face off for the second time in four months.

Tickets, priced at $150 (reserved seating), $100 (reserved seating) and $45 (general admission) are on sale now and are available for purchase at the House of Blues Box Office, the Orpheum Theater box office or online at http://m.concerts.livenation.com/event/01004C389CC1B5BE,www.murphysboxingusa.com or www.backeastpromotions.com.

McCreedy & Traietti fighting on 'Royale Rumble' In potential prelude to rematch

November 23 at The Royale Nightclub Boston

PROVIDENCE (Nov. 14, 2013) - Two of New England's best and most popular boxers, "Irish" Joey McCreedy and Chris Traietti, will be fighting in the main event and co-feature, respectively, on the "Royale Rumble" card, presented by Big Six Entertainment, November 23 on a special Saturday afternoon card (5 p.m. ET start) at The Royale Nightclub Boston (formerly The Roxy).

McCreedy won a six-round split decision over Traietti back on January 1, 2008 at Foxwoods Resort Casino.  Their separate Nov. 23rd fights may serve as a prelude to a possible rematch in 2014, although both fighters soon plan to move down in weight classes, McCreedy to super middleweight and Traietti to light heavyweight.  They could, however, agree to meet at an agreeable catch-weight in what would be a major New England showdown.

McCreedy (14-6-2, 6 KOs), fighting out of the same hometown as "Irish" Micky Ward (Lowell, Mass.) and his trainer Dicky Eklund, takes on Nigerian light heavyweight Dennis Ogboo (7-7, 6 KOs) in the six-round headliner

Irag War veteran Traietti (14-3, 10 KOs), fighting out of nearby Quincy, meets Randy "The Rattler" Campbell (3-10, 2 KOs), in the eight-round co-feature.  Traietti defeated Campbell 2 ½ years ago by way of a six-round majority decision.

Undefeated Lawrence (MA) heavyweight prospect Alexis Santos (11-0, 10 KOs) faces veteran Kevin Franklin (4-7, 1 KO) in a six-fight, while Lynn (MA) welterweight "Speedy" Rashidi Ellis (2-0, 1 KO) squares off with Oscar Diaz (0-2) in a four-rounder.

Also fighting in a rematch is Stoneham (MA) welterweight Greg Vendetti (4-0-1, 2 KOs) and Brockton's (MA) Antonio Chaves Fernandez (3-13-2) in a six-round rematch.  They fought to a four-round draw this past July at the same venue.

Marshfield (MA) junior middleweight Aleksandra Magdziak Lopes (10-2, 1 KO) takes on "Notorious" Nicole Woods (11-2-2, 3 KOs) in a six-round battle of former world title challengers.

All fighters are subject to change.

Tickets, reasonably priced at $40.00, $50.00 and $75.00, are available to purchase by calling 1.617.312.5059.

'Irish' Joey McCreedy fighting for Breast Cancer Awareness on 'Royale Rumble' November 23 at The Royale Nightclub Boston

Presents
ROYALE RUMBLE
Nov. 23, 2013 ● The Royale Nightclub Boston ● Boston,Mass.

For Immediate Release

Trainer Dicky Eklund (L) and "Irish" Joey McCreedy

PROVIDENCE (Nov. 7, 2013) - Popular New England fighter "Irish" Joey McCreedy will be fighting for Breast Cancer Awareness in the main event on "Royale Rumble," presented by Big Six Entertainment, November 23 on a special Saturday afternoon card (5 p.m. ET start) at The Royale Nightclub Boston (formerly The Roxy).

McCreedy (14-6-2, 6 KOs), fighting out of the same hometown as "Irish" Micky Ward (Lowell, Mass.), is trained by Ward's brother, Dicky Eklund.  His opponent in the six-round bout is Nigerian light heavyweight Dennis Ogboo (7-7, 6 KOs), who lives in Lexington, Kentucky.

McCreedy has dedicated his Nov. 23rd fight to Dianne Levasseur, the mother of his close friend, who passed away last year with breast cancer.  The 28-year-old McCreedy will wear pink ribbons on his shorts.

"I was supposed to fight last month (Breast Cancer Awareness Month) in Rhode Island," McCreedy explained, "but that fight was canceled so I'm dedicating this fight to Dianne. I want women with breast cancer to know they're not fighting alone.  We may fight in the ring, but these women are the real warriors.  They're fighting for their lives.  They aren't alone in their fight to survive; we have their backs.  Cancer effects everybody - friends and family - and I just want breast cancer victims to know we care."

McCreedy hasn't fought since this past St. Patrick's Day, when he won a unanimous eight-round decision over Michael Walchuk.   He claims this will be his last fight as a light heavyweight.

"After this fight I want to tackle the top super middleweights," McCreedy said.  "I've been known to party after a fight and put on weight.  I'm getting a little older and I'm already on weight.  I has my fight canceled last month but stayed focused and in the gym. I ran a lot and the weight came off easier since I rededicated myself to training. I'm already on weight.  I'm a free promotional free agent and Jerry Simpson is my new manager.  I want to stay active."

In the eight-round co-feature, Irag War veteran Chris Traietti (14-3, 10 KOs), fighting out of nearby Quincy, meets Randy "The Rattler" Campbell (3-10, 2 KOs), of Charleston (WV) in a rematch of a fight 2 ½ years ago, in which Traietti won a six-round majority decision.

Undefeated Lawrence heavyweight Alexis Santos (11-0, 10 KOs) puts his perfect record on the line against Ohioan veteran Kevin Franklin (4-7, 1 KO) in a six-rounder. Lynn welterweight "Speedy" Rashidi Ellis (2-0, 1 KO) faces Hartford's (CT) Oscar Diaz (0-2) in a four-round fight.

Also fighting on the card is Stoneham (MA) welterweight Greg Vendetti (4-0-1, 2 KOs) and Brockton's (MA) Antonio Chaves Fernandez (3-13-2) in a six-round rematch.  They fought to a four-round draw this past July at the same venue.

Marshfield (MA) junior middleweight Aleksandra Magdziak Lopes (10-2, 1 KO) and "Notorious" Nicole Woods (11-2-2, 3 KOs), from Stone Mountain, Georgia, will meet in a battle of former world title challengers in a six-round bout.

All fighters are subject to change.

RESULTS FROM BOSTON: Traietti stops Stanley in 6th

Presents
THE ROXY HOMECOMING CELEBRATION
July 27, 2013 ● The Royale Nightclub Boston ● Boston, MA

BOSTON (July 27, 2013) - Iraq War veteran Chris Traietti (14-3, 9 KOs) won his fourth straight fight, stopping an overmatched Dion Stanley (11-6, 7 KOs) in the main event on tonight's "The Roxy Homecoming Celebration" card, at The Royale Nightclub in Boston.

"The Roxy Homecoming Celebration" was presented by Big Six Entertainment, in association with Danny Kelly Promotions and Cappiello Boxing.

Traietti, fighting of Quincy (MA), pounded his Kansas City (MO) cruiserweight opponent from the opening bell until the fight ended in the sixth on a technical knockout, mixing  effective body punches and heavy shots to the head.  Stanley took a knee in the fifth after being hit with a left to the nose, and again in the sixth, after which the referee called off the fight.

In a battle of unbeaten light welterweights, Puerto Rican-invader Jonathan Perez (5-0, 3 KOs) dropped Boston's Gabriel Duluc (8-1, 1 KO) right before the bell signaling the end the first round.  Duluc failed to beat the referee's count and Perez was awarded a knockout victory.  Duluc protested the outcome to no avail, claiming he stood at the nine count.

For his second fight in a row, Irish welterweight John "Bancara Banger" Hutchinson's (3-0-2, 1 KO) fight ended in a technical draw.  The Dunegal, Ireland native, now fighting out of Boston, appeared to be well on his way to a win over Cape Cod fighter
Robert Brando-Hunt (0-3-1).  However, an unintentional head-butt near the end of the first round caused a cut over the right eye of Brando-Hunt.  On the advice of the ring physician, the fight was stopped at 59-seconds of the second round, resulting in a technical draw.

Blue-chip welterweight prospect Rashidi "The Prince" Ellis (1-0), the 2012 National PAL Tournament champion, turned in a dazzling professional debut against 20-fight veteran "Steamin'" Josh Beeman, of Brockton.  The 19-year-old from nearby Lynn (MA) used his superior hand-and-foot speed to control a game Beeman en route to an impressive win by unanimous four-round decision.
Crowd-pleasing Stoneham (MA) welterweight Greg Vendetti (3-0-1) dropped Brockton southpaw Antonio Chaves Fernandes (2-11-2) twice in the opening round but had to settle for a questionable four-round draw.
Providence super middleweight Pubilo "Ethan" Pena (1-1, 1 KO) won his first pro fight when his bout versus Jimmy Cappiello (4-4-2, 1 KO), of Somerville (MA), was halted after two rounds on the advice of the ring doctor due to a cut under Cappiello's right eye.

Connecticut light heavyweight Joe Powers (1-1, 1 KOs) notched his first professional victory when his fight against previously undefeated Mical Weisberg (3-1, 2 KOs), of Stoughton (MA), was stopped after three rounds on the advice of the ring doctor due to a cut over Weisberg's left eye.
