THE NAAFS RELEASES FIGHT CARD FOR ANTICIPATED “FIGHT NITE IN THE FLATS VIII” EVENT

June 2nd fight card to feature UFC/Bellator vets, rising stars

San Jose, California (USA): Top Midwest fight promotion North American Allied Fight Series (NAAFS) today revealed its fight card for the upcoming “Fight Nite in the Flats VIII” event, which will take place on Saturday, June 2nd at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica in Cleveland, Ohio. In the main event, Bellator stalwart “The Cleveland Assassin” Chris Lozano will lock horns with NAAFS Welterweight Champion Kyle “Alley Cat” Baker with the belt on the line. In another title bout, Frank “The Tank” Caraballo will put his NAAFS Featherweight Championship on the line against Antonio “Mexican Muscle” Castillo, Jr. Also on the card is UFC veteran Jason “Dynamite” Dent, as he battles well-respected finisher James “The Unbreakable Heavy Hitter” Warfield, who has stopped his opponent in all 22 of his wins.

Tickets for “Fight Night in the Flats VIII” are available at http://store.naafs.biz/fight-nite-in-the-flats-viii.html. General Admission: $30, VIP Table, Row 3: $50, VIP Table, Row Two: $75, VIP Table, Row One: $100, VIP Stage Table: $125, VIP Booth Seats: $60. The main card will also be broadcasted live on GoFightLive.com for $9.99.

“We are really proud to bring such a stacked card to the NAAFS fight fans,” said NAAFS CEO Greg Kalikas. “This is a big event for us, and I have all the confidence in the world that our fighters are going to bring every ounce of fight-finishing ability they have to Cleveland.”

Known as “The Cleveland Assassin,” Chris Lozano (14-4) is a five-time Bellator veteran who will be making his sixth appearance for the NAAFS. A member of Evolve MMA, Lozano brings an intensity to the cage rivaled by few. He has faced well-known fighters such as Karl Amoussou, Douglas Lima, and Lyman Good, and has defeated the likes of Brent Weedman, Yoshiyuki Yoshida, and Jason Dent. His opponent, Kyle “Alley Cat” Baker (12-4), is known for his brutal knockout power. The current 170-pound title-holder in the NAAFS, he has a big bullseye on his back, but is ready for the challenge. “The Alley Cat” has quite a fight resume himself, taking on noted competitors Lucio Linhares, James Warfield, Brian Foster, Drew Fickett, Chad Reiner, and Douglas Lima during his career.

NAAFS Featherweight Champion Frank “The Tank” Caraballo (17-7) will also put it all on the line on June 2nd when he battles top contender Antonio “Mexican Muscle” Castillo, Jr. (12-3) for the belt. Both known for their ability to go from bell to bell, these 145ers are sure to put on a crowd-pleasing affair that will showcase what mixed martial arts is all about. Caraballo is a three-time veteran of Bellator, and brings an edge in experience against the challenger. Both fighters are from Ohio, however, and with both the belt and local bragging rights on the line, fists are sure to fly in this one.

Also fighting at “Fight Night in the Flats VIII” is UFC and Ultimate Fighter veteran Jason “Dynamite” Dent (22-12), who will tangle with James “The Unbreakable Heavy Hitter” Warfield (22-10). A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Dent is an eight-time NAAFS veteran, and he will look to protect his home turf against Wisconsin’s Warfield. Also on the card are several top blue chip prospects, including Johny Hendricks training partner Dave Shepherd, Joe Heiland, Khama Worthy, and George Comer. All will be looking to make a statement to the local Cleveland crowd, as well as to an international iPPV audience.
