Bethlehem, PA. (November 22, 2013) – The final results are in for Bellator MMA’s event live from Pennsylvania’s Sands Event Center. The night showcased the Bellator Middleweight World Championship with Alexander Shlemenko defending his belt against Doug Marshall with a first round knockout. The event also featured the Bellator Welterweight and Lightweight Tournament Finals with Rick Hawn finishing Ron Keslar to win his second Bellator tournament in two different weigh classes and Will Brooks defeating Tiger Sarnavskiy in the lightweight final.

Bellator Fight Week Begins Thursday, October 31st From Long Beach Arena In Preparation For November 2nd Alvarez vs. Chandler Rematch

Newport Beach, CA. (October 28^th, 2013) – As Bellator’s highly anticipated November 2^nd event moves closer, the fight week schedule has been finalized as the Long Beach Arena will play host to Bellator Open Workouts, Weigh-In’s, and of course Saturday night’s event, “Chandler vs. Alvarez II”.

“Chandler vs. Alvarez II” will be held at Southern California’s Long Beach Arena on Saturday, November 2nd, with tickets on sale now. Tickets can be purchased on Bellator.com, Ticketmaster.com, as well as at The Long Beach Arena Box Office.

Bellator Open Workouts: In lieu of a press conference, Bellator is hosting open workouts on Thursday, October 31^st from Long Beach Arena (300 E. Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA) and is free and open to the public. Open Workouts will begin at 12pm PST on Thursday, and will feature Michael Chandler, Eddie Alvarez, King Mo, Emanuel Newton, Pat Curran and Daniel Straus.

Bellator Weigh-In’s: Bellator will host its weigh-ins inside the Long Beach Arena on Friday, November 1^st at 5pm PST. As always, the event is free and open to the public, and will be streamed live on Bellator.com. The event will feature every fighter competing on the November 2^nd card, and will feature cage announcer Michael C. Williams, emcee Jimmy Smith, and Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney.

Bellator: “Chandler vs. Alvarez II”: At 7pm EST, the broadcast will begin on Spike.com for two hours of action. The Spike TV portion of the card will begin at 9pm EST, and will be headlined by Michael Chandler vs. Eddie Alvarez.

Tito Ortiz Suffers Fractured Neck: Bellator Moves Entire Show to Live & Free on Spike TV

Newport Beach, CA. (October 25, 2013) – After months of training preparing for his November 2^nd showdown with Rampage Jackson, Tito Ortiz has suffered a fractured neck injury forcing  the cancellation of the main event for Bellator’s November 2^nd fight card.

Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney and Spike President Kevin Kay have jointly decided to provide the November 2^nd fight card to MMA fans on Spike TV, airing LIVE and FREE around the country. The biggest card in Bellator history will air at9:00pm EST LIVE on SPIKE TV and features an unprecedented three title fights featuring the promotion’s biggest stars.

The night will now be headlined by the long-awaited rematch between Bellator Lightweight Champion Michael Chandler and former Bellator Champion Eddie Alvarez, along with an Interim Light Heavyweight Title fight between King Mo and Emanuel Newton, as well as a Bellator Featherweight Title fight between Pat Curran and Daniel Straus.

(October 15^th, 2013) – The highly anticipated Bellator Pay-Per-View “Rampage vs. Tito” has seen another addition as featherweights Mike “The Marine” Richman and Akop Stepanyan have been added to the November 2^nd fight card and will be featured on Spike TV.  The night currently features a Featherweight Title fight between Pat Curran and Daniel Straus, an interim Light Heavyweight Title fight between Emanuel Newton and King Mo, a Lightweight Title fight between Michael Chandler and Eddie Alvarez, as well as the night’s main event featuring MMA icons Rampage Jackson and Tito Ortiz.

Heavyweight Tournament Finals Added To November 2ndPay-Per-View As Cheick Kongo Battles Vinicius Spartan

Newport Beach, CA. (October 14. 2013) – After knockout victories for both Cheick Kongo and Vinicius Spartan in the Bellator Heavyweight Semifinals, the two giants will meet inside the Bellator cage on November 2^nd live on Pay-Per-View from the Long Beach Arena, which is headlined by MMA icons Rampage Jackson and Tito Ortiz.

“Rampage vs. Tito” will be held at Southern California’s Long Beach Arena on Saturday, November 2nd, with tickets on sale now. Tickets can be purchased on Bellator.com, Ticketmaster.com, as well as at The Long Beach Arena Box Office.

“To be able to put on a card of this caliber for our first Pay-Per-View is something really special,” Bellator CEO & Chairman Bjorn Rebney said. “Kongo vs. Spartan should be absolute fireworks, and will be a fantastic way to kick off what should be a historic night on November 2^nd from the Long Beach Arena.”

Kongo punched his ticket to the semifinals with a devastating combination of strikes and knees that left Mark Godbeer on the mat and advanced Kongo onto the Heavyweight Tournament Finals. 

 Holding notable victories over “Cro Cop”, Pat Berry and Matt Mitrione, Kongo has his sights set on capturing his first tournament crown.

“I want to fight the best in Bellator so I can be the best,” Kongo said. “When I try to do things as a competitor, I want to be the best. I messed up before because I wasn't focused like I've been from the beginning. But, now … I will be the best. It's my time. I came to Bellator for the opportunity to show the best Cheick Kongo. And that's it.”

 Team Nogueira and Chute Boxe’s own Vinicius Spartan wasted no time collecting victory in the semifinals with a lightning-quick knockout over longtime MMA veteran Lavar Johnson. Now just one step away from his rightful title shot, Spartan will leave it all on the line November 2^nd.

“Winning a Bellator tournament today is very difficult and actually achieving victory has tremendous value,” Spartan said. “I prefer it to be difficult and I know Cheick is going to be very tough--that is a motivating factor for me and my team.”

Terry Etim Makes Bellator Debut

Newport Beach, CA. (October 11, 2013) – Submission ace Terry Etim will return to the cage on November 2nd as the Liverpool native will make his Bellator debut against Patrick Cenoble. The lightweight affair will be featured on Spike TV leading up to Bellator’s highly anticipated Pay-Per-View, which is headlined by MMA icons Rampage Jackson and Tito Ortiz.

“Rampage vs. Tito” will be held at Southern California’s Long Beach Arena on Saturday, November 2nd, with tickets on sale now. Tickets can be purchased on Bellator.com, Ticketmaster.com, as well as at The Long Beach Arena Box Office.

Only 27, Etim joins Bellator with an impressive 15-5 record to his name including 12 submission finishes in his young career. Etim holds notable victories over Matt Grice, Sam Stout and Brian Cobb and is looking to make his mark inside the Bellator cage.

“I’m excited to get back into the cage and do what I do best, fight,” Etim said. “Bellator has continued to grow and to be part of the organization and be part of the first PPV is a huge honor, and I’m pumped to be able to showcase my skills on such a big stage. November 2nd is going to be a huge night.”

Florida native Patrick Cenoble will look to get back to his winning ways on November 2nd after the quick finisher fought to a draw against veteran Tony Fryklund at Bellator 94. Just 23, Cenoble packs a powerful punch and plans to keep the fight on the feet on November 2nd from the Long Beach Arena.
